we stayed at Lion's Beach. Nice large sites. On bluff w/ full view of lake. Fairly clean showers. Nice camp host who left helpful message on our windshield regarding tag needed for our extra vehicle. paved level sites, shady table w/ fire ring. The only problem w/ Elephant butte is it often is windy, therefore, dusty.

I give this park a 4 because it is old and not big rig friendly. It could accommodate smaller rigs/tents fairly easy, however, if you are 33 ft or more the pull thrus are short. Most sites you would have to unhook a tow vehicle. There is ample shade due to large trees but be careful of low hanging branches. The roads are narrow and difficult to make turns, especially with a tow. The sites are dirt and fairly narrow. It is questionable that it meets the standards of a KOA. In all fairness, they offered a breakfast but we did not take advantage, nor did we use the bathroom/shower facilities. It is immediately off of I-40 (between Elk City and Clinton) as you would expect there is a lot of highway noise. Would not stay here again.

What a great place to overnight. Located on the western edge of Amarillo, their huge sign is easily seen from I-40, however, it only says "RV Resort" not "Oasis RV" so heads up if you are looking for it. We arrived late at night and there was no late arrival information posted so we called the phone # and a friendly fellow said for us to "just drop $20 bucks in the box". I am sure he gave us a discount because of our late arrival. The bathrooms/showers were the cleanest we have ever used! The entire facility was clean and well maintained. I think the park is new , therefore, there is no shade. We had no time to use the pool but it looked nice. We would overnight here again

It is a nice place to overnight, conveniently located just off I-40. There is not too much highway noise and a distant train whistle could be heard but did so loud as to interfere w/ our sleep. A very friendly owner, who gave us a discount even though we did not have any discount memberships. In the past, we have had difficulty finding nice RV parks in the south. Most have permanent residents that lend a "trashy" feel to many establishments. Not so here. It is a smaller, well maintained park with room to accommodate large rigs. There are gravel roads and pads. We did not use the WiFi or restroom facilities. We probably would not stay here for an extended period but would overnight here again.

A nice clean state park with warm showers. About 14 miles off the highway, just outside of Summerville AZ. We arrived late and used self pay station, however, park attendant came out and helped direct us to a site best suited to fit our RV. If in the area we would stay here again.

We were disappointed with the RV park. It was nothing special and a bit overpriced. We would not stay here again.

Hurray for Catalina State Park. We prefer State and National Parks over private RV parks and this is one of the best. Sites are large and the view of the mountains (especially from loop A) are just great. The park employees and volunteers were are polite. The bathrooms and showers were quite clean and had warm enough water. We visited in February and will return again.
