We stayed there a few months while we were on a job. Rate is based on monthly. This a small park that is great for workers or anyone that doesn't need all the extras that the resorts offer. It is a clean park and the owners are on site. We would stay again.
During our last trip to the gulf we had problems with electric and had to go to the RV park's service center. We called the park and they saved us a spot since we live in our motor home. The sites are very tight getting into, but they are concrete; easy to level. We would go back to the service center or for an over night stop over, but would not like to stay very long as it is too busy.
This park is very nice. It's beautiful in the trees. It was very hard to move through in our motorhome because of the low trees. It was extremely hot in the woods. Then we had problems with electric hookups. We moved to waterfront where we extended our stay 2 extra days. We would return to waterfront but not to woods with a big rig.
When we came to this part of Texas for a job. This was a very reasonable place. Good place for workers that have self contained RV's since they don't have restrooms or showers. Very nice people and next door to the Three Dudes Winery. Less than 2 miles outside of town. The rate I gave was monthly and we would stay again.
The park is set up real nice. But would not stay again. Beware this dog friendly park is your dog on leash and theirs run wild. Keep everything locked. Unsupervised child. Extremely windy and road noise. Catch and release lake. Cannot use lodge unless invited. Very unstable environment.
