Another hidden jewel in Georgia's State Park system. Quiet, off the interstate but not remote. Golf, fishing, geo-caching, walking the nature trails or just relaxing in the shaded sites your choice.

We called ahead to verify vacancy, they only have 10 "FULL HOOK UP" sites, the first row. The next two rows are water/electric only. Some are shaded, some more level than others. 34 of the 75 sites are for tent camping. Quiet, convenient to town and the Bluegrass Parkway. Friendly operators who have owned the property for 28 years.

We stayed here over Masters weekend. It is close to Augusta and to I-20. Shaded lots with fire rings, picnic tables and plenty of room between each site. Nearby stores for provisions if necessary. Not all sites are pull through.

My wife was having a party so, me and the dogs needed to leave the house. Friendly staff, nice sites with fire rings on the river.

Needed an overnight on the way to South Dakota. We utilized self check-in and only stayed six hours. Nice level gravel sites. Excellent location close to Interstate.

Most sites are shaded with views of the ponds. Very quiet, friendly owners.
