What a great small campground. The Staff was professional and friendly. The park was very clean and affordable. You can tell the owners take care of the park! They where very hospitable to our group! Our group will use it again, when 'The Rally' returns to Perry!
This was a First Campout for our Good Sam Chapter, the staff was very nice and accommodating. The campground had manageable sites and was very quite at night. The bathrooms where very clean. We will return!
We had one of the new back-in sites in the New Area. Our site also had a beautiful view, and easy access to the Center Park. Playground for kids, a new pavillion, and group Yurt (where they had singing on Saturday night). This campground is very well maintained and off the beaten path, surrounded by farms. Our Camping Group goes here every year!
The campground had a real stench in our campsite area. We Later found it was coming from the Bath Houses! Yes, it was so bad, that it could be smelled outside and down from the sites. They have TONS of Goofy Rules, and make you read them upon check in. They provided FREE WiFi, but charge you for basic Cable. Some people where asked if they wanted it, others where not. Don't even ask me why they need a gate key system for this campground, I guess they hope you forget to return the card for the Deposit. Also, they provide clean up bags for the dog owners, but no trash cans to deposit them into. So everywhere to go on the trails, they are scattered around on the ground. We will NOT be visiting this Campground Again!
The campground was clean, and well managed. Our group enjoyed the water slide and putt putt course. Only thing negative is the gas golf carts, speeding all over the place. They threw up dust from the gravel roads, and coated everything. We will return in the future!
They have a great pool, well stocked store and neat snack bar. The game room was a little small, but also have a fishing pond, shuffle board and a Rec. Hall. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Some roads are paved and some gravel, all seem to be in good condition. Overall I enjoyed this park and will return there again.
This is a very nice new park. Sites are very close together, but very clean and concrete paved. There are lighted hook up posts, and a great laundry facility. We would love to visit for a week, after the area finished rebuilding from the storms.
This KOA was very clean, as well as the Restrooms extremely clean. The owners went out of their way to assist us upon arrival. She escorted us to our site, and made sure it would accommodate us for the Night! We will go back again, we will recommend this park to friends.
A very nice campground. They are adding 19 new sites, and a new club pavilion is in the works. Owners are very nice, and Great places are close By! We will return Next Year, with hopes of catching the color changes of the surrounding mountains.
We were lucky to park across for a small group of inconsiderate drunks. They brought their Pit Bulls and chained them to the back side of there campers, so they did not have to cleanup after them. The campground management did not care, that one couple had to exit their motorhome with a hammer in their hand. The staff was not very friendly! Please do not show up 10 minutes before check in time. For if your not a regular, they will charge to an additional day charge. This will be our last stay at this Campground..
It was an OK, Small Country Campground. The Sites where a little confusing. One road through the campground, was difficult to maneuver. With 3 Satellite Dish's attached to a tree, pointing into the road. One showed signs of a recent meeting with a RV! The Grass was not cut, due to their desire to raise some straw. So we where told from the management!
We returned for a 5 night stay. And found this campground got even better over the season. Same Great sized, water front Sites. New Electrical hookups and water hookups. They now offer 50Amp Electric. .
We really enjoyed our Labor Day weekend at this Campground. The owners where very friendly, and sites were in prestine condition. The Saturday evening band was great, and pancake breakfast was good also. They put on a good holiday campout! We will Return again next Labor Day!
This campground is perfect for a weekend retreat! The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. They are currently making a number of campground improvements with all the construction projects going on. We really enjoyed the surrounding area, as well as the nice Brookside Restaurant they recommended! We will be back!
Very kid friendly Campground. The facilities were clean and fairly maintained. Our group camped here during their Halloween weekend. Only suggestion is DO NOT show up 15 minutes before check in time. They kept pushing a $5.00 per hour early check in Fee. When we refused and decided to wait outside with our Rigs. Boy did we get some FREE entertainment with the constant verbal assault. That had to be the longest 10 minutes! This had been a favorite with our group, but after hearing from the 6 families that had the FREE entertainment, it is now OFF the List.
This place should be placed on your avoid list. The owners are down right nasty, and unwelcoming. To ask a question, gets you yelled at! The facilities are in very bad shape, and repair looks to be more then they can handle. As their new sites are in worse shape than their old! The swimming pool was full of concrete chunks, and writing in the lime deposits around the top, not to mention the family of frogs that would visit during a swim. I am also surprised they have kept their KOA name with such poor facilities and customer service.
Our group camped here during the Presidents Day weekend. Staff was friendly and accomnodating, they went out of their way to make sure we enjoy our stay. There store was well stocked, and items where fairly priced! Yes, the campground is right next to the Highway! But not anymore noise than I can handle. If your a light sleeper, then this may not be a good campground for you!
