This campground is beautiful offering views of the nearby mountains. There is a variety of trees throughout the park and the sites are fairly level with nice brick picnic tables. The laundry and restrooms are clean and centrally located. Fort Davis and McDonald Observatory are just up the road and The Big Bend National Park is only a couple of hours South. We stayed for five weeks from March into April and really enjoyed the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harrison Village Campground. Our site was perfectly level and accommodated our travel trailer, truck, and two motorcycles. The hardwood trees throughout the park are beautiful and the park is very well maintained by wonderful campground hosts. Propane is available on site and there is a storm shelter in the event of inclement weather. We stayed for the month of October and paid a very reasonable monthly rate. The area is great for motorcycling and hiking, and Branson is just a short distance away!
