Nice park, a little over-priced. Rate reflects the Good Sam Discount as well as $2 off for paying cash. Long, level pull-throughs. A lot of rules that you must follow or you are asked to leave and that is made clear at check-in. But all that makes for a nice setting. Beautiful grounds, road noise not a concern. WiFi was spotty - sometimes it worked great, then suddenly we were knocked off. Good cable. Park caters to the over-55 RVers. Close to shopping and restaurants.
Closest park to The North Rim with hook-ups. Road to the campground a bit rough in spaces. Sites are close but we were lucky to be there when they weren't busy and they spaced us "every-other" which gave us room. Fire pits and picnic tables at each site. Lots of trees, beautiful setting. Our Verizon phone worked OK, got two bars. Our Verizon USB modem worked well and we were able to get the Internet.
Great location. Walking distance to many restaurants and grocery store. WiFi worked well, cable was less than adequate. Listing showed 46 stations, we got two and they were "snowy". Ended up putting up the satellite dish. Directions shown in Trailer Life are hard to follow, best to call and ask how to find them. Sites are nicely spaced, have picnic tables, are level and long. Best Western Hotel facilities - pools, laundry, etc., open to RV'rs. Good base for visiting Zion, Bryce, and Cedar Breaks.
This sites are way too close. We were so cramped that if the neighbor sneezed we felt obliged to bless them. A lot of permanents with lots of stuff all around their sites. Many children, but most we encountered were polite and quiet. On the plus side, the staff was great - very pleasant and informative. Wi-Fi was supposed to be available but we were never able to get connected. We were parked toward the back so the highway noise was tolerable but constant. I doubt that we would stay there again.
An excellent experience. Long, spacious, level pull-throughs, most pleasant staff, beautiful well-kept grounds, and great scenery in every direction. The only "negative" was the Wi-Fi. Although settings showed "excellent" we rarely were able to get on and stay on. If we did connect we were booted off within minutes. Very unreliable. We would definitely stay there again.
Rate reflects senior discount. As noted by another person, there was a sign to boil our water. We didn't have a problem with that as we wanted to stay by the lake. The view of the lake from the sites was wonderful. If you are interested in fishing and have a boat, this is a great location. No trees. We had a FHU site with a 50 amp service. Park is very quiet and The park host was most accommodating.
The park is "aging" and in need of TLC. If you want a park where the staff is super friendly and helpful, and where there is fishing access on the grounds, this will work. We had a "pull-through" site - actually just drove up on the grassy area on the upper level. We had awesome views of sunrises and sunsets. Sites in the trees down by the river seemed to be arranged "helter-skelter". The "dogs must be leashed" rule was over-looked as dogs ran freely throughout the park. Wi-Fi was hit-or-miss, usually more miss. The store is well-stocked, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful in all areas of fishing from supplies to scheduling shuttles. The bathrooms and showers are old but clean. The laundry was another story; we took our clothes to town. We would stay again.
This is one of the prettiest parks we have ever stayed at in our ten-plus years of full-timing. The sites are nicely spaced, there are trees throughout the park providing abundant shade on warm afternoons, and the gardens all over the park are beautiful. We did not experience any of the problems with "young" staff members as an earlier review had noted. Yes, there were "young" people behind the desk and throughout the grounds, but all were polite and knowledgeable. There was entertainment one night with a free ice cream social after. We will definitely stay there again.
Nice size sites - ours was level and long, friendly and helpful hosts, very clean facilities - although only two washers and dryers. Far enough off main road that noise was not a factor. Good location for day trips to Yellowstone.
The nicest park for several reasons - the owners, the location, the layout, the extreme cleanliness of facilities, the size of the sites, and the quietness - even though it is close to the Interstate for easy-on, easy-off access. No cable, but easy to set up satellite if TV is a must. Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Already looking forward to a return visit.
