Sites are scattered over the campgound, but dispersed so you are not close. First electric we tried had open ground, but the one on the other side of the pole was good. Managed by the city and had a very friendly host on site. Great little park for an over night or a few days. We will come back.
Nice little park for a visit to Palo Duro State Park. Management very friendly. Tried to get us into a shady spot, but the trees came down too much so they tried to cut off the limbs to help us. Could get very tight if they were completely full, but otherwise good sites.
Nice park, lots of amenities, but the WiFi is inadequate for the number of sites. Management just says to keep trying. After four hours I decided we would not come back. Price too high to accept that level service. There are other parks available .
Small park with few amenities but very friendly owner. All sites are level, gravel and separated, not crowded. We love this little park. It's out in the country, has decent access to San Antonio, Berne and Bandera. Good area for birding also. We will be back, in fact are planning on it.
Many improvements. Management very good. Nice level sites. Good Wi-Fi. They separate the long term sites from the transient. Pool was still open and looked very clean. Convenient to Branson. Would stay here again. Rate reflects PA discount.
Grass and gravel sites. Fairly roomy, but has some noise from the highway and train tracks nearby. Wi-fi at office only. Overall, nice park for one or two days. Close to Garnet Ghost Town. Would come back.
Not a great park, but not a terrible one. Wifi doesn't reach all sites. Sites are gravel, mostly level. Back sites are on Alder Creek and are mostly tenting sites. Very close when several large RVs parked in a row with slide-outs out. Owner is very nice and the area is wonderful. Noise during the day, but not at night. Very close to a lot of Lewis and Clark sites and Astoria nearby is wonderful.
Nice park, only negative was that it was all gravel which got hot during the summer for our dogs. Level sites, good WiFi and well kept. The park is 30 minutes from any shopping so not quite as convenient, but very accessible. Management very friendly and does a good job of maintaining park.
Great family owned and managed park with paved roads and solid gravel spaces. Easy access for big rigs. Some noise for interstate but very convenient to shopping. We also enjoyed feeding the goats that live on the property. Nice small lake for walking dogs. We stayed a month. Owners are dedicated to improving the park and offer a free breakfast in the cafe for short stay residents.
Rate reflects Passport Amer rate. Basic grass lot with gravel. Full hookups, good power and Wi-Fi. They had each site checked for signal strength. Most sites pull throughs (if nobody is in the other half). No shade. Some long term campers but okay for a few days. Manager was nice and flexible on site selection.
Great park, well kept, some sites are close, but in section "A" they were well spaced. Nearly all with trees. Some of the lakeside sites looked very nice. Great management and very helpful. However, limited cell service and no data service.
Great campground, sites are well spaced and clean. Management is great. Most sites are grass and gravel with many shady sites. We had planned on spending two days, but stayed four. Rate is Passport America discount.
Not as big rig friendly as they say, had trouble getting into and out of the site. Other than that a great campground. Friendly staff and good location on the "quiet" side of the island. Rate reflects weekly rate.
Not all sites are good for large (40 ft) RVs, but they have several. Most sites have 30 amp, a few have 50. Good free Wi-Fi, wonderful staff. The owner takes great pride in helping his customers. Had a minor problem with electric and the owner responded quickly and had it fixed. Rate reflects the weekly rate.
