Great family owned and managed park with paved roads and solid gravel spaces. Easy access for big rigs. Some noise for interstate but very convenient to shopping. We also enjoyed feeding the goats that live on the property. Nice small lake for walking dogs. We stayed a month. Owners are dedicated to improving the park and offer a free breakfast in the cafe for short stay residents.
Rate reflects Passport Amer rate. Basic grass lot with gravel. Full hookups, good power and Wi-Fi. They had each site checked for signal strength. Most sites pull throughs (if nobody is in the other half). No shade. Some long term campers but okay for a few days. Manager was nice and flexible on site selection.
Great park, well kept, some sites are close, but in section "A" they were well spaced. Nearly all with trees. Some of the lakeside sites looked very nice. Great management and very helpful. However, limited cell service and no data service.
Great campground, sites are well spaced and clean. Management is great. Most sites are grass and gravel with many shady sites. We had planned on spending two days, but stayed four. Rate is Passport America discount.
Not as big rig friendly as they say, had trouble getting into and out of the site. Other than that a great campground. Friendly staff and good location on the "quiet" side of the island. Rate reflects weekly rate.
Not all sites are good for large (40 ft) RVs, but they have several. Most sites have 30 amp, a few have 50. Good free Wi-Fi, wonderful staff. The owner takes great pride in helping his customers. Had a minor problem with electric and the owner responded quickly and had it fixed. Rate reflects the weekly rate.
