Ok this is a fairly nice place but the mosquitos at night are horrible got way too many bites on me and my kids and us even sprayed each other. The pool was way too far to walk to and it was very small for all the people in it that hot hot day. The site was a little small besides all that this place is OK.
Not a good place to camp. Very outdated and the bathrooms smelled like sewer. Not very camper friendly and lots of outdated campers hanging around. I would NOT travel here again but you never know until you try. We left on sunday morning and no one was at the store to drop off our credit card for the gate so we left it with a lady sitting on the porch reading the newspaper it looked like she was a permanent one funny thing is she had 4 other credit cards for the others that left in a hurry too.
I love this place. We traveled here the weekend before Memorial Day and love this place. The indoor pool with the indoor hot tub is great. We can relax in the tub while we watch the kids swim. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Has a nice homemade beach and lots of activities to do: like family kickball such a fun sport. The site is a nice size. We were behind the indoor pool. Yes, we will travel here again next year, and probably the year after that too.
If you would like a campground on the side of a hill then this is the place. It's not good for kids with bikes as there is no place to ride. We were put into a site on the side of a hill and all day long all we heard were these loud diesel pickups going up the hill to their campsite. The site was very small and lots of rocks... Will not travel here again.
Love this campground: it's very family friendly. We stay here every year for Fathers Day weekend and there' s so much to do for the kids. Games, games and more games. The pool is very clean and we all love to play softball. The playground is good for the smaller ones and they do have a kiddie pool for the little ones too. We will stay here again next year for Fathers Day and probably the year after.
