Very very tight parking. I believe we were in the F 800 section. Staff is very friendly. We had a coupon from the Tampa RV show so we decided to stay on our way down to the Keys. Regular rate is 22.00 night Grass on your site is well kept and they have landscaping bark around pedestals. Spots are level. I would recommend asking to stay on the backside of the property as Highway 4 is in front of the property. You are close to shopping and Walmart is about 8 miles south. All in all worth a overnight stay passing through.
This is your typical Thousand Trails park. They just changed out the garbage set up and it is a pain now. Have to drive a long way now and it is a big park. The staff is friendly except at the front some times. Some of the spots are terrible trying to get level. Most spots are good for satellite, and cell reception is good. Your Wi-Fi card will be spotty sometimes. The pool is nice and the nature trail is enjoyable to walk. Very active park with a lot of activities. Fishing on the lake is good and due to the fact it is private you do not need a FL license. It is gated and safe. We will stay here again and price is reflective of our membership.
The owners are AWESOME. These people are the nicest folks you will meet. This is a small park and very clean. Garbage cans all around the park with very easy access. If you walk out the back of the park there is a long boardwalk that goes out to the dock on the river. The no see ums come out at dusk so be prepared. I would rate this park higher, but there are no pads and sites are tighter. very easy to get in to your site though. Right around the corner outside the park is a fresh seafood shack. I was in the right place at the right time and saw these guys bring in a sixty pound Drum fish in a cooler. They brought it in to have it weighed to see if it was a record. The front row has more room than the back row. The rate is based on RPI.
Overall this is a nice park. One of the ladies at the front is never friendly, but I just ignore her. There is nothing going on at this park activity wise. It is clean with level sites. The garbage is a bizzillion miles away. Huge dog park. We use this park as a week out from TT Orlando and the price is based on a weekly rate. There are two pools and one hot tub at the big pool. You can not use any of them after dusk. It is not gated which seems real strange to me, but we have never had any issues. Just a few park models but are very tidy and well kept. We would stay here again.
When we got there the lady at the desk gave my wife directions to our site. Well I should have taken the toad off and went and checked myself. No way was this the right way to go. I made the corner after I put a scratch in my coach. Never the less going to the keys is just breath taking and a blast. Spaces are tight, but there is a lot of energy in this park with music and daily functions. The marina is fun especially if you go and throw chum in the water. Numerous tropical fish will show up. I went snorkeling from the park and saw dolphins, sting rays and fish. I even dragged in a large conch. If you go here I highly recommend going to the No Name Pub. Best fish and chips I have ever had. Plus seeing all the money hanging from the ceilings is something to see. We will be back; can't stay away from the blue water!
We loved this campground. Concrete, level pads and large spacious area. There is a walking path all around the small lake and this campground was kept very tidy. The highway is right in front of the park but we stayed on the back loop and did not hear a thing. We would stay here again when we go down to the Keys.
