Not visually attractive, but pretty good park. Didn't use showers, but laundry was very nice. Campground host was a great help. Good restaurants nearby, brewery and fishing pier within walking distance.
Not great. Narrow roads, tight turns, dirt sites. Pool was really green. Trains with whistles all night. Dump station poorly located (could only be used when entering). Inadequate bathrooms. We left after one night, expected to stay more. Sites are under heavy tree coverage.
Passport America rate. Park kind of grew on us. At first we thought "not much" but as we sat and enjoyed the view, we decided it was pretty good. Wi-Fi spotty, we used Verizon. Lively pub/pizza parlor. We launched our PortaBote. View from the water was great. Check-in was slow. Would definitely stay again.
Very well maintained grounds and facilities. Nice showers/bathrooms. Pull-throughs are tight and short. A park in this price range should be perfect. This one was not. Sewer connections are small. Standard fittings don't fit. The restaurant in the adjoining inn is quite pretty, but service was amateurish, and breakfasts were cold. Rate posted was approximate (I couldn't find the bill!).
An open gravel campground. Good hookups, newer pedestals, no amenities. Our rate reflects Passport America discount. We saw no evidence of a homeless encampment. Park was surprisingly full for a Saturday night off season. Quiet.
Large, open grassy area with level sites. (I didn't even use the jacks). Sites are full hook up, back in. No amenities. Surrounded by oleanders, which makes it private. However, the campground backs up to the Union Pacific main line. Heavy use of whistles. But the train noise seemed to quit about 9:00 pm. We were not awakened through the night. Either we were very tired (we were) or trains didn't run through the night. But we will definitely stay again for an en route campground.
New owners are upgrading park. Good-sized sites, gravel w/ grass between. Overlooks golf course. Easy access. Pool was being repaired. Owners are very friendly. When upgrades are complete, would rate a 10.
Kind of pricey, but met our needs. Close to I-70, but noise wasn't an issue. Place looked kind of barren at first glance, but sitting and looking, the surrounding mountains and river were quite nice. No sewer, but dump station had easy access. Manager said WiFi was weak. 1 to 2 bars on Verizon.
