Went to Holiday Shores campground for 3 days (July 20, 21, &22), and the weather was beautiful. We wanted a full hook-up site, but had to settle for a water and electric site instead. The campground provides a daily honey wagon which comes around to empty your grey and black tanks for free (tips accepted). As a result, we had to use their shower facility. The good news is their shower facility was clean. The site that we had was large enough to put a 32 footer trailer and 3 large tents. The people and the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. They also provide activities for the kids. We will definitely return to Holiday shores campground.

We went to Camp Sandusky during the July 4th weekend. Therefore, the rates were a little high. We like the staff and the camp site. They added another pool, but both pools are very small. One benefit of the park is that they have a nice playground for the smaller kids. Also, they offer a pancake breakfast for less than $4.00, we did not get a chance to try the pancakes. The camp ground has two bathrooms/shower buildings. One of the female bathroom/shower buildings had a clogged sink and one backed up toilet. The other bathroom/shower building was more functional, however you had to shower with the natives(spiders & mosquitos). It's possible that because of the holiday weekend, the staff was stretched thin. Overall, i would revisit Camp Sandusky again.

Oak Lake Family Campground was our very first campground where we tried out our new hybrid trailer. The site was very clean, quiet, and small (which we liked). Unfortunately, because the site is small, there is only one bathroom/shower house available ( which is very clean). The staff was very nice and helpful. We did not have any children with us on this trip, but it appeared that they had a lake, bikes, and basketball court. We loved the price- $37. However, we did not like their nets (bugs).
