I was happy with the campground except the site we had was very unlevel. It was also $3 extra for a cement patio which I didn't get. Our site has 2X2 patio blocks that were not very stable. When we walked around we saw that there were much better sites than ours available so I guess it pays to look around. It was quiet at night. We would stay again.
Park is located right next to the interstate so it is noisy all night long. It is off exit 7 and about 2 miles down a service road. We got here about 4:45PM and had to wait for someone to check us in. They seemed more concerned about getting us to go to the on site steak house than telling us where to park. We got parked and leveled and unhooked before we found out that one leg of the 50amp plug-in was off and there were no breakers to be found. We went back to the building and they were closed and gone. We had to move to another site. When we left in the morning we told them about the bad plug and they didn't seem to care.
Park needs some work but it looks like they have started to do some things. Other reviewers have talked to the new owners and they are going to be living on site so that would be better. We stayed in a pull through site that was level and the hookups were great as they had recently been redone. The back in sites were long but kind of overgrown and the one we found that would suit our needs had a tree blocking access. We had Wi-Fi at our site. Park is close to a highway junction and there is some noise from the trucks using engine brakes to slow down.
Sites were wide and level with lots of room for trailer and tow vehicle. The campground is well off the road so it was quiet. Excellent water pressure and no problems with power or sewer. Campground was well maintained and staff was friendly. We asked for a site with good Wi-Fi reception and had good line of site to the tower but we still had trouble about a third of the time. The fire pit was on a side hill so when we had a fire it was hard to get close and not be leaning. We would stay here again.
Site was wide and level with grass. Campground was easy to find. Train tracks were really close and loud. We had couldn't get our SurgeGuard to stay on at the 50 amp connection so I took it out of the circuit (stupid me) and blew a ground fault breaker and a voltage monitor in the trailer. Air cond., fridge and water heater were not on electric so they were saved. It was to late to move so we just unplugged and moved to a 30 amp the next morning. I had no problems with the 30 amp and replaced the breaker for $42. The monitor is gone. I would stay again but I will never plug in without my SurgeGuard again.
Site was $30 for 30 amp and water/sewer with a 7 day cancellation policy. I said I had slides so I was given a "wide site" which I think the staff had confused with the site behind me which was wider. My site was narrow and not very level. It was littered with sunflower seeds and cigarette butts. My picnic table which was a few feet outside my door was over the neighbors sewer connection (in the middle of the site) and they were pulling out when we were hooking up so they were emptying their sewer. I used the washroom and found no towel dispensers or hand dryers and the washrooms were not very clean. It was a Monday and the park was about 20% full and yet we were jammed together in a group. I wouldn't camp here again.
