We stayed here for the Biker/Blues & BBQ Festival. RV park really nice and clean. Attendants are very friendly and helpful. A little bit of a challenge to get to (windy, turns, twisty roads). We were in a 41' camper w/a 12' long trailer attached. Sites concreted, but kind of dusty. We had no sewer problems as someone earlier commented on. There was no cable or TV connections, but that was ok with us. (We have dvd's to watch.) We left early to ride our motorbikes and came in late.
This is one of the most deplorable RV campgrounds we've ever been to. We camped there for the N.B.R. Roundup in August 2009. The grass was uncut 1-2 feet long, gravel all over, and it looked like a dump for longtime campers. I heard that the NBR had their groups there a few years back and it was in good condition, it's really run down. The office is nice but the grounds themselves needed some work. We made some really nice friends and made the best of it.
It was decent. We stayed 2 nights. It is a little difficult to get to because of the small sign that sort of blended in with others in the area. Sites were gravel. We'd probably make it our 2nd or 3rd choice. They had limited space for dogs play area.
We stayed at this resort in our 41 foot Travel Supreme motorhome and it's an absolutely wonderful place to camp. We only stayed for 2 nights, but the grounds were immaculate, the pool was very nice, the office staff caring and very personable. We would definitely go there again.
