This is the most beautiful resort in Gulf Shores, AL. It is connected to Soldiers Creek Golf Course so if you like to golf, you get a reduced rate for being a guest in the RV resort. When you drive into the resort you know it is first rate with lighted palm trees, wide roads, and beautiful landscaping. The paved sites are large enough to park your motorhome/5th wheel and 2 cars behind your rig. The facility is open for the guests to use from 8am-10pm. Free Wi-Fi and cable on the sites and free laundry facilities. This is a Hidden Paradise just minutes from the beach. Free lunch every Friday for RVer's to see the park.
For 3 years we have been RVing in the Gulf Shores area and heard about Gulf Breeze. My problem was that I could not get past the rude people in the office. We have called and stopped by several times regarding making reservations. The people in the office immediately tell you they are full, No Openings, No Wait List, No Hope of getting a Reservation in the near future. Their office staff needs a lesson on providing Excellent Customer Service. We have heard the above experience from many people. Looks like a nice park with indoor pool, close to shopping and beach, and sites are nice. The biggest problem is trying to get a reservation to stay in the park
We stayed here for 6 weeks. Very nice snowbirds in the park- clubhouse activities were fun. Convenient to Foley and Gulf Shore area. One of their few amenities is Free Laundry with only 2 washers and 3 dryers. This would be fine but the washers/dryers were very old and broke down while we were staying in the park. They need to replace washers/dryers asap. I agree with other review regarding the area that was dug up for construction and left a muddy mess. The biggest problem was the Wi-Fi did not work most of the time. Very weak signal only way to use the internet was to go to the clubhouse- not convenient. Many people complained about the Wi-Fi but nothing done to correct the problem. Felt the managers could be more helpful to the guests in resolving problems. Did not use the golf course. Might stay again if the Wi-Fi and washer/dryer issue is fixed.
