Stayed here for 2 months, and it was very relaxing. Fishing is available on lake. Owner is real friendly. On Saturday night they have country music in the Opry House at the entrance. No Wi-Fi or cell phone service at this time but it will be available by spring. Great get away to fish & relax. Other campers were great! At $10 a night you can't beat it. All sites are back-in under the trees so shade is no problem.
First impression of the park was the woman in the office and I was treated like she didn't care if we stayed there or not. The sites are level gravel sites, not as long as we were told though. Once your slides are out and your neighbors are out you have no room. It's like being in a sardine can. Wi-Fi is horrible. No matter what time of day or night it kicks you off every couple of minutes. Can't get any work done online. No trees so you feel like you're in a giant parking lot. There is another campground going in this area so as soon as it is open we will be relocating there. We are here for at least a month.
Extremely nice park. Private bathrooms were clean as well as was the laundry room. And the laundry was free! Sites are nice a level pull-thrus. Close to town and fishing without having everyone on top of you. Wi-Fi worked great. Fast connect and we didn't get booted off at all. They take Good Sam too. We are thinking about spending the winter there this year. Worth the trip.
We stayed at a great, tucked away campground near Mt. Pleasant, TX. It's not a large Campground which we like, and still offers free Wi-Fi, free laundry (high quality washers and dryers) and has an instant hot water service that gives immediate and endless hot water (how nice), with strong water pressure in the “private” showers. We were here 2 months working at the power plant and it's location to everything is perfect. It's only 1 1/2 miles from Lake Bob Sandlin (GREAT BASS FISHING), and we found local golf courses. Nice level sites with FHU for 20, 30 and 50 amps. Most sites are pull through. The Owner is super helpful. You've got to check this place out. It's just outside Pittsburg, TX. Look them up, you'll enjoy it.
