A tight turn to access the office but other than that, it was easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in Benson due to its' proximity to Tombstone which we visited (about 1/2 drive south). We had a pull through site which was relatively level and is gravel-based. We had full hookups which included cable and free Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is not secure so must use it with some responsibility but it appears to be a good signal at least at our site (49). There are no concrete patios and at least at our site, no picnic table. The park is fairly quiet considering how close it is to Highway 10, but we have heard some train whistles. Hard to find an RV park without that. This is a good stop for an overnight or two while exploring the area, although there are many longer stay residents in place. We would stay here again and our price reflects Passport America prices.

This park is located right next to Interstate 10 and is noisy. However if you ask the staff to place you toward the back of the park, I'm sure it would be much better. It is a very tidy park, big rig friendly and although we asked for a pull through, it was not long enough for our 38' rig with the toad attached and therefore had to disconnect for our one night stay. They escort you to your site and overall, the staff were friendly, although failed to mention the noise factor and place us in a better spot. They have a very comfortable lobby and serve a continental breakfast in the morning between 7:30 - 10 am. The hot tub looked nice, but we did not use it. The gym is full of used older equipment so not too encouraged to go in to use it. The laundry was clean and bright and charged $1.25 for both washers and dryers. Overall, the park is aesthetically pleasing and the sites are freshly raked gravel and quite level. We believe the price for this park is too high and so probably would not return.

Be prepared for a long drive (approximately 5 miles) on a dusty narrow winding road to get to this park. Do not try to drive there if it has been raining recently and call the owners for instructions. Do not follow your GPS. The pads were a mix of gravel/dirt but had full hookups. No cable but we had an excellent Wi-Fi signal. Satellite reception was good. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There is a small restaurant on site which is a good thing if you want to eat out as it's a long drive to go back to town. This is primarily a fishing/hunting park, but it does have a nice pool (which was not open yet) and lots of room to roam around. Laundry facilities on site cost $1.25 for the washer and $1.50 for the dryer. This is a PA park so the rate we paid reflects that. We would not make a special trip back here.

This is a "when you need to get off the road" only spot. It had been raining so that would explain the huge ruts in the road getting into the park. Our pad was concrete, but pretty much everything else was dirt and gravel with a bit of lawn. There is no cable or Wi-Fi, and with it being a park in need of some TLC, we found the price of $25.00 too much. However, the owners were very friendly and accommodating and allowed us the use of their electric vehicle (much like a large golf cart) to take into town. We would not choose to stay here again, however.

This is definitely an over nighter park only. It is situated right off Highway 385 which makes it convenient, but not too bad for noise with the windows closed. It is completely gravel everywhere. We took a 30 amp site with full hookup and included cable and Wi-Fi. Our rate reflects our Passport America membership.

First of all, be aware that Santa Fe is at 7200 feet above sea level. This park is located approximately 7 miles from town and therefore a quiet spot to stay. It was an easy drive to get into town however. Even though we parked here mid-April, we arrived to snow on the ground. This melted, but the day we left, it was snowing again. The whole park is a red dirt/gravel mix which tracked into the motorhome on a regular basis! Cable TV and WiFi were excellent. The WiFi signal was one of the strongest we've encountered from our site #92. The laundry facility was tight, but clean. Washers were $2.00 which we thought was expensive, but the dryers were $1.00 for 45 minutes. We paid for 6 nights which cost us $171.58 and reflected a Good Sam discount. After checking some of the other campgrounds in the area, this one was one of the best and reasonably priced in comparison. On the whole, we found Santa Fe to be an expensive area, but if traveling this way again, we would stay in this park.

Watch carefully for the sign as it's easy to miss, but the park itself is adequate. Cable and WiFi are available at no extra charge. We had trouble using the WiFi to begin with, but once we bookmarked the sign-in page, it was fine. The roads and pads are gravel, but our site (66) had a concrete pad. I don't believe all of them did. We also had a free standing carport for our toad. The owners of the park are very friendly. The laundry facilities were small with four washers and four dryers, but was clean and reasonably priced. The rate reflects a Good Sam discount.

Easy campground to get into. The roads and pads are all gravel and it's very dusty there. Add the wind that always blows in Texas and you get the picture. Basic cable was available but there was no cell service, at least for our phone. WiFi was available and free. This is a good campground for a one or two day stopover between San Antonio and El Paso. If we travel this way again and need an over-nighter, we would stop here again. The price reflects a Good Sam discount.

This is a clean, well kept park. The sites are grass and the patios are concrete. There are no shade trees. The rate we mentioned is a Passport America rate. The WiFi is extra. The park is close to the airport, but we did not find the noise to be bothersome. The park is conveniently located to all amenities. We would stay here again.

This is a nice park and convenient to everything in Rockport. The sites are paved as are the patios. We found this park to be a little "tight" for space, but was acceptable. The negatives were that WiFi was extra as was electricity. This is the first park we have encountered on our 9 month journey that charged extra for electricity. It was very humid while we were there so needed to run the air conditioners as well as the de-humidifier and at the end of the week, had to pay an extra $29.55. The other negative is that the trees all around are Live Oaks which makes for a mess with leaves everywhere and combined with the very sandy soil isn't so nice. However, the laundry facilities are excellent, large, bright and clean and reasonably priced at $1.25 for both washers and the dryers. The people here were very friendly. We would stay here again.

We stayed in this park for two weeks separated by 10 days while we visited other areas in Texas. This is one of the friendliest parks we've been in during our 9 months of travel. The park is very convenient to everything including the Riverwalk, Alamo and the Missions. A city bus stops right across the street from the entrance and costs $1.10 if you want to leave your tow car behind when visiting the attractions downtown. The premium sites which we stayed in are pull through, easy access, gravel pads with concrete patios and a picnic bench. Very clean. The laundry is fairly large and clean and reasonably priced compared to most at only $1.00 for the washer and the same for the dryers. The only reason I didn't give this one a 10 out of 10 is that Wifi is not included and must be purchased from Tengo Internet. We would definitely stay here again.

We used this park as a one night stop over. It was quite convenient to Interstate 10 and quiet with fairly easy access. The sites are concrete pads and they do have a concrete patio but it was set back from the door of our 38 foot motorhome. However, as we were only there one night, that didn't matter. The cable was free but the wi-fi was not. Our air card worked quite well there. The community of Highlands did not impress us as it looked a bit tired. We don't believe we would stay here for any longer than one night, but for that purpose, this was an excellent stop over. We would stay here again.

The reason we gave this and 8 out of 10 instead of a 10 out of 10 was no wi-fi and no cable available. If you're interested in a quiet setting on a river, clean, crushed gravel fairly level sites, then this is the place for you. We used our air card for our wi-fi connection and the signal was fair, enough to pull in mail, etc. It it located just outside of New Braunfels which is a nice community with lots of amenities nearby and of course close to San Antonio. We paid $40.00 a night which we felt was high but would probably stay here again. We understand the weekly and monthly rates are quite a bit more reasonable, but you would have to check that yourself.

This park is one of the nicest we have encountered on our year long RV trip. The roads in and out are all paved, the sites and patios are concrete with grass all around. There are individual garbage receptacles and this is picked up on a daily basis. The laundry is clean and reasonably priced. The washers and dryers were both $1.00. This is a Casino RV park and the Casino is approximately 1/2 mile from the RV park. They have a trolley bus coming through the park on a regular basis if you don't want to drive. There was no noise from the Casino at all. We paid $17.00 for a week night and $21.00 for the weekend with our Good Sam discount. There is an impressive golf course attached to this facility. All in all, you can't go wrong stopping here. We would definitely stop here again.

This is a Passport America park so we were charged $20.00 for our site and $3.00 extra for cable hookup. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were escorted to our site. Our site was considered a grassy site, but there was not much of that around. Most of the sites were sandy. Cable reception was good, but the Wifi signal was weak. The park was hosting a free hot dog roast the night we arrived which we attended and found everyone to be very friendly. We wouldn't stay here for a long time, but it is a safe park and easily accessible from I75. We would stay here again.

This park is situated right across the road from the Gulf. The location is 3.3 miles from the Beau Rivage Casino. The staff were very friendly, and we were escorted to our site. Our site was a pull-through, and large enough for our 38 foot Class A Motorhome. The cable tv has many channels with good reception. The wifi signal is excellent, one of the best we have encountered on our trip. The site was considered grassy, but we found it to be mostly sandy. The only drawback to this park would be the trains, and there are many, which pass by the back of the park. We were parked closer to the Gulf side of the park and away from the train tracks, but the noise from the trains easily reached us. However, with that said, we would still stay here again for one or two nights.

Our site was three stalls from Highway 98 and very noisy. The site was small. We were in a 38 foot Class A and were still sticking out into the road a bit. However, the site was level and was a concrete pad. Security at our site was minimal due to our proximity to the exit. The only thing between us and the highway was the automatic gate bar. You could easily walk into the park without anyone knowing. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we were not given the access code for the Wifi, so were unable to use that as the office was closed. We found the staff on the whole to be coldly professional. We felt the weekly rate was reasonable, but we consider the nightly charge to be a rip-off. We were located one quarter mile from the beach. However, the beach was spectacular. We would not recommend staying in the area of the park closest to the highway. The middle level was priced at $112.00 per night and the sites on the beach were $146.00. We would not stay here again.

This is a difficult park to find and not an easy drive on the access road to it, being very narrow and winding. We had site 71, which was not level. Wifi is available at your site for an extra fee, but free if you take your laptop to the central office area. This park does not get a lot of sun due to it's setting in the valley. There was no cable tv at our site and extremely poor antenna reception. No cell phone service either. It was not a good value for the money and we felt it was not up to KOA standards. We would not stay here again.

This park is very conveniently located in Asheville. It's about a 10 minute drive to the Biltmore Estate, which is a huge draw in this area and well worth visiting. It's also easy access in and out of the park. The Wi-Fi signal is generally very good and no extra fee for the use. Cell phone signal was reasonable as well. Despite this park being practically right in town, it's very quiet. We would recommend this park and would stay here again.

We liked this park. It has easy access, is quiet, and big rig friendly. The sites were level. We stayed in site C8 and it was very nice. Wi-fi cost extra, but our air card worked well here because of a good cell phone signal. We would stay here again.

We came here because of Woodall's ad and write-up. Our site was not level, even though they told us it was a premium site and would be level. The price of the park is very high, but if you want wifi service, you must pay extra. We found that to be unacceptable. Luckily, we do have an air card so we were able to access the web and our cell phone. It was extremely noisy with our "premium" site situated one stand of trees away from the freeway. Due to the fact that we arrived on the Columbus Day weekend, all the parks in the area were busy, therefore we were unable to change campgrounds. Had we been able to do so, we would have. We definitely would not choose this campground again.
