The trees are very nice at this park giving enough shade but they are not so close that it is difficult to get into a space. There is a fishing pond(catch and release but no swimming area or pool. The spaces are gravel and not perfectly level. We only stayed one night but when I pulled the sewer I noticed a Black Widow spider had found its way into the hose. We used the park bathrooms but realized this was a mistake. They were in need of being updated and an all around good cleaning. The location was easy to find and the price was good for a one night stay. The Internet was spotty so we had to use our cell internet most of the time. The park was about half full and the manager was helpful so I would probably stay there for one night on my way through in the future.
If this park had sewer hook ups it would be rated much higher. The lake and surrounding scenery is beautiful with lots of shade trees. We hung out on the the lake in our small boat and even had dinner (burgers) at the small marina in the park. Good fishing and the park is serious about the noise curfew which makes it easy score it so high.
We stayed in this park to avoid the horrible traffic in Branson. It is very clean and is slowing being rebuilt by a new owner that is apparently staying on the property. The pool is nice but the hot tub is no longer there. The park is quiet and we enjoyed being able to get to the alternate routes around Branson easily. The restaurant is no longer open either but with all the food spots in town that was hardly an issue. I would recommend this park and will stay here again if I get a chance to come back to Branson.
We stayed in this park for a full month because of the price. It is located on a gravel road and does not have very many amenities but the owners are very nice. The showers and laundry room were kept clean and the park was quiet. We were gone during the day but at night we couldn't pick up TV and there were so many trees we couldn't get the satellite to get signal either. We have a very small trailer so getting in was no problem but a big rig (40'+) couldn't fit if the 30' travel trailer that tried to get in next to us was any indication. Overall we liked the laid back owners and especially the price but this is definitely a "roughing it" type of park if you are addicted to city life.
