This is a wonderful RV park. All the sites are on lawn with lots of trees around and have a view of the river. It is a very quiet, peaceful setting. The owners live on the property and started the business many years ago. They are a friendly, helpful couple who actually came out to wave goodbye on the last day of our week long stay. They escort you to your site and stay to be sure you have everything you need. It is 12 miles from town but well worth the drive. It is a dead zone for cell phones but a signal can be picked up just a few miles down the road. No TV (antenna or cable) but our satellite picked up fine. All the other campers we spoke to while there loved it also.
This park is what all parks should be. Plenty of space, both between the sites and in length. There is grass and trees between the sites and the park is surrounded by trees. The sites are placed randomly, instead of being lined up like sardines in a can. The owners are very friendly, and the pride in their park really shows. Another plus is that they provide recycling bins. The only negitive is the noise from the highway but this is true of most parks that are on main roads. We would definitely stay again.
This is a nice park. The pull-throughs are long and there's plenty of space between sites. Quiet even though next to the highway. Good internet and lots of cable TV channels. Great place to stop for the night while crossing Oregon. Previous owners didn't welcome pets, but it is now pet friendly. So if you are like us and were turned away on a prior trip because of a pet, give them another try.
We have stayed in this park many times, and sometimes for long stays. It is in a country setting near a river. It is a quiet, well maintained park. We don't use their facilities much but have no complaints. Over the years we have encountered a revolving staff, but never anyone that wasn't helpful or friendly. Free Wi-Fi with good connection. No cable but does pick up channels with antenna.
We stayed here 6 nights. The rate is $25 per night and if you stay 5 you get 2 free. A real bargain these days. As mentioned before, the sites for short stays are rather narrow, but it was a very quiet park, even with all the long term residents. The clubhouse was very nice with a homey feeling and lots of information for the area. The laundry facilities were good. Cable was good. Had to go to the clubhouse to use wi-fi. The manager was very friendly and helpful. He definitely takes pride in what he does. Good location for touring the area.
We stayed here for 2 nights several years ago, so while passing through again, we were happy to be able to stay here again. It's a no frills park, but very nice for a night or two. I was surprised to read the review saying the sites were narrow because we find them the opposite. There is plenty of room to get in and out and not be on top of your neighbor. The Cable is good and so is the wi-fi at our site. We did not use the restrooms or laundry. The staff were friendly, and we were advised there would be coffee and muffins in the morning.
