The location was great and the staff were friendly. The showers and restrooms were too dirty. The showers had green mold on the walls. The sinks had sand in them and gave the appearance they were not cleaned in at least a week. My wife said the women's showers had a moldy smell to them. The site itself was fairly level for a unpaved pull through with full hookup. The picnic table at our site was OK but you could say it saw better days. The distance between the campsites was fair and each person could enjoy their own privacy. In my own opinion, a rating of 2 is the best I can give because the price was too high for showers and restrooms to be in the condition we had at the time.
We came to this park because we had a brochure saying, “$25 per night.” We got there at 6:30pm and there was nobody there and a sign saying, “$36 per night.” When we checked out they wanted $46. We showed them that the price they advertised was $25 and they claimed the people in the brochure lied. (I find it hard to believe.) The next problem was the grounds were covered n thorns where we walked. It was just all around filthy. The bathrooms were so nasty, it is impossible to put in words. I would recommend that people avoid this place at all cost. The filthiest disappointment I have ever seen.
I'll simply say, for the price we paid, we couldn't complain. The area itself is nice. The views from the campground were beautiful. It does appear the place could use some fixing up. Either way it was okay and I would most likely stay here again.
This was a basic campground without hookups. It was a very nice location and not far from the Grand Canyon. There were places to connect your hose and refill your fresh water tanks. They had picnic tables and a fire ring at each site. Being we were only staying one night it was just fine for us. I will definitely stay here again.
Normally, I would give this park a 10 for the cleanliness and location. This was the cleanest RV Park I’ve ever stayed at. The only problem I had with it was a hot tub that my daughter who was one month shy of her 16th Birthday was not allowed to use. Sorry, but I saw no reason for this and we stayed at other places with hot tubs just like the one at this park and even my 7 year old had no problem. This was not an understandable rule to me. So in an overall review, If I’m traveling that way again and have kids 15 and under I will not stay here. If I’m alone or with kids 16 and over then I will stay here. That is also my recommendation for any other people traveling in this area.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was just right. The showers were clean. If I had any complaint it would be that the laundry was nice but closed at 9pm. Other than that, I would stay here again.
