The staff was very nice on the phone and answered many questions. They did tell me that it was 30 minutes from the CG to the gate at Yellowstone, depending on the Bison (which he said clog up the roadway). In the week that we were here, we saw no Bison outside of the park. The views of the rock formations and mountains from the park were beautiful. The pool was a little cold and the spa was out of order. It was very windy most days. We saw one RV get its awing ripped off. I wouldn't come here to stay at the CG, but it's a good base for exploring Yellowstone and the area.
Nice park. Roads are a little tight. While we were here it snowed about 6inches. The owner had the roads plowed but I had to clean in front of RV. It would be better if they had a pool. They have a field with hookups for the real big rigs. We would go back.
We camped here in 2000 and it was a very nice park. We stopped using it because they did not allow large dogs (we had a golden Lab). After she passed we went back again with our Jack Russels and saw other large dogs in the CG. When we questioned the management about it they said people sneak them in. We also didn't like how run down the park had become. Some of the people camping here were very rude. There was a party in the pool one night after it closed and the people (French Canadians) had glass beer bottles in the pool.
