Absolutely one of our favorite parks. We stay here at least once a year for 4 or 5 days. Close to YNP West entrance and close to town to wander around. Staff is extremely nice and helpful, recommending restaurants etc. Pull through sites are long and can accommodate our coach and enclosed trailer.
WOW! What the h*** happened? We have stayed here for the past 5 years and have always enjoyed it until last month. The south side opened a few years ago and is an owners section that you can stay in if your rig is a 5th wheel or a class A and ten years or newer. We have stayed in the new (south) side a few times and really enjoyed it. This past month we were traveling with family/friends and decided to stay a couple days in Moab on the way home from Colorado. We stayed in the north (older) section due to some of the members of our party were in a travel trailer and were not allowed in the south section. The campground had no one on site for most of the daytime and absolutely nobody past 4:00 in the afternoons. We checked in at 2:00 and had to do the self check-in because office was closed. The grounds had been completely let go on the north side. It appears as if you don't have a half-million dollar coach and buy a lot they don't want to accommodate you. We did stay here in a half million dollar coach but will not be returning. We go to Moab a half dozen times a year and will be looking for a different campground to accommodate our party in the future.
For the most part a nice clean park but very tight for a large rig. We had probably the largest site in the campground and it was a little too small for my liking. Very friendly people though so it made it enjoyable. Some of the sites were so tight with the slides out, there was only about a foot between the neighbor's rig. If the site we stayed in is not available I don't know if we would stay here again.
Very nice clean park. New owners the week we arrived, although there was some confusion about our reservations, they were able to accommodate our party with multiple rigs. Very shady and many surrounding attractions to enjoy. The small town was a pleasure to walk through. We would stay here again.
Amazing campground. Could put in many, many more sites but they chose to keep the open outdoor feeling. Beautiful scenery with wildlife wandering through camp. Although it rained the entire three days we were here, the stay was fantastic and we will return.
This campground has really gotten loose with the rules this year. We camp here several times a year for the last 9 years with extended family and friends. It is a great family campground with many activities for kids. This past weekend we saw many, many tents crammed in anywhere they would fit (too close to our motorhome for my liking), ATVs are not supposed to be ridden except between campsites and the gate going out to the trails. This is one reason we like taking our ATVs here is because there are not people riding them around camp. This past weekend several campers used the entire campground as their personal racetrack for their kids. Barking dogs are not supposed to be tolerated either, however, dogs barked the entire time we were here whether the owners were in their trailer or not. Needless to say we as well as our extended family members and friends will not be camping here again. There is a new campground just down the street that looks nice and clean that will be getting our business.
Very nice, high end campground. Fairly close to road traffic but noise was not bad. Large sites and easy to get in and out of. Close to Park City (just off Kimball Jnct) and all it has to offer. Lower section is not as modern as upper but nice just the same and have larger 'group' areas that would be great for reunion or gathering.
Very nice campground. We camp here annually to ride ATVs as well as when traveling through the area. Owners take pride in the campground and are very friendly and make your stay enjoyable. Campground is very clean and neat. New power pedestals in much of the park as well as cable TV. I would highly recommend this campground. No problem for large rigs.
This is a nice campground, very clean and neat. We stay here quite often as a short weekend getaway or if leaving a night early and want to get through Salt Lake City traffic. It is nice set next to the mountains in the background. It is next to a fairly busy road going into the town of Sprinville but not too bad. Lots of things to do in surrounding area, restaurants and movie theater nearby. Not much extra room for tow vehicle but manageable.
