A nice place, level sites, hookups were all at the rear of the site. There was a lot of train traffic to be heard, but that was the only negative. For the money a good deal!

We don't normally use KOA, but in this case we would stay here again. The park was clean, nice and had a little cafe that was pretty nice. The Food was good and reasonable; what else is there? Lots of trees, level sites, roomy; all in all a nice park and would stay there again!

The people who run this place are very friendly and helpful. Some sites are level, some are not close. Showers and laundry are clean and have a combination lock on them, however you need a flashlight to read the numbers at night. Some spaces seem to be double wide and some are barely wide enough for your slideouts! My awning extended to 18 inches from my neighbor and I saw some closer than that! Best places are by the river but it's a looong walk to restroom and laundry. I'm not sure whether I would return or not.

Really nice people and a small but nice campground. Very clean, and the small size seems to enable the owners to keep it clean! Plenty of space for the fiver and awning. Quiet and clean , easily accessible and nice people , all you could ask for. Wi-fi was weak and no shade trees keep it from being a 10

Nice park, clean and a nice location for downtown. You sure won't walk downtown but it's an easy drive. Parking is a problem downtown and expensive! A good Mexican restaurant is located right across the street. WiFi is Tengo internet. It's just ok. Cable TV is good with many channels. Nice pull throughs with gravel sites. Would stay here again.

Park is clean, like all Texas state parks we've stayed in. The town is small but not far from several larger towns.

Rate is figured on a three month stay. The people are very friendly and there are quite a few activities. The park is past it's prime and they aren't putting any money into it to try to upgrade it. You park on grass and put your truck or car on a concrete pad. The manager won't do anything but walk outside and smoke. That may be her job? Pretty quiet with a short drive to Hwy 83 to get just about anywhere in the valley. Wi-Fi is available in the clubhouse and it is pretty good most of the time. The bathrooms are generally clean but aging. Shade is not really available, there are a few trees but not a lot.

This is a diamond in the rough! Not a destination, but a tremendous stopover. Owner is friendly, helpful, and just plain nice.I will plan to stop here every trip !!

This a terribly overpriced park. The restrooms away from the rec-hall are in bad shape! One is little better than an outhouse! The "core" group are friendly to each other but that's all. They will hardly acknowledge anyone else. The wi-fi is good but no cable. If you don't know someone here you better go someplace else. It is only convenient to Bentson bird park. Town is 2 or 3 miles miles away
