I rated this campground low because the staff was not friendly at all. They made us feel like second class RVers, being with RPI, no one was helpful. I was made to feel horrible when asking for a refund for 2 nights. They said unless death or illness and I can understand that. My husband has severe celiac disease and other things. I asked where that was written and he couldn't find it and said he had to download it. The other thing, Wi-Fi, it was only available in the laundry room at certain times. On the south side it looked like a lot of full timers. Rules were not enforced as for dogs on leashes and had someone near us who just had their dog running around. Not a happy RVer.
We came without reservations but were told it should not be a problem, it was craziness, one person told us we were on a waiting list the next you had to come each morning and check. We landed in dry camping where everyone just did there own thing, this is geared to family camping and kids, no real adult activities planned, as for wifi don't plan on it , when resort is booked u can not get on, for just celebrating 33 years you would think they would upgrade, the sites are ok some. Close some it so close, will we come again probably not. As I have told my husband thank goodness we did not pay full price for the membership, am so disappointed of what we have come across. Trying to figure out want a 5 star resort should be.
This park was not what I expected. The only benefit was a short walk to the beach. The upper spots are ok, but so dusty and would of like something watered. The bathrooms were not clean. No activates as far as I could tell. Trying to figure out what is the difference between a campground and resort. The people were ok. Proabaly would. Wi-Fi was ok, except for nighttime.
I rated this a four because they only have 7 pull through sites, and they do not tell you that you need you dog's vaccine history. I did not like finding your own spot, and the ranger was not very helpful. We stayed one night, with no phone coverage at all. What if there is an emergency? Very dusty. Told us not to park on grass. What grass? Everything was dead. The only thing appealing is the pool. If you like to dry camp, because that is about what it is, then yes, stay here. Otherwise pass it by.
This at one time I think was a great park. They are working on cleaning things up. No planned activities, but Lincoln City is not far. Verizon service horrible. Dog run great, a big open field for them to run. The people who run this are very nice.
We parked here in an RV. Rate was $10.00 for CG. They then add on $5.50 a night for surcharge and $2.00 a night for Wi-Fi. Verizon service was not good. They do not tell you upon setting up - no mats on ground or dog enclosures. Nothing on grass. No planned activities, like I read online. For the most part, the park is nice. Grounds kept clean. They water at unusual times. They pack them in, so you are right on top of each other. For the most part, a nice park.
