For $35 a night we got to stay on dirt next to a neighbor who was so close we could not put out our awning. Had to park next to 2 huge dump trucks. There was trash/glass everywhere. Most every site was occupied by an oil worker. It was also State Fair week and nothing else was available in Minot. If you can help it, do not go to this campground.
What this c/g lacks in amenities, it makes up for in hospitality. We were the only transients there and were made to feel like family. The site was large, but only had 30amps. There is a boat launch and a small laundry - one machine each. Coffee and baked goods every morning. Good fishing.
It is hard to rate a park in the winter when everything is shut down and the place is devoid of people. The staff was great and our site was just fine. Lots of space to walk dogs. We only stayed one night, so cannot add anything else.
The sites in the back area are quite comfortable. Lots of shade and a lovely pond with lots of water fowl. Spotless bathrooms and two laundry rooms. Wi-Fi very, very slow and had to use aircard. Close to Philly.
Needed 50 amps so were parked in the center rally field. No sewer hookup, but a honey wagon for $3.50. Friendly staff and fun activities. Stayed for 9 days and loved every minute. Full hook ups have only 30 amps. Great Wi-Fi and satellite reception.
Mostly seasonal with very few transient sites. Water is 50 steps down a treacherous staircase. Needed extension cord to reach power. Site level and excellent WiFi. Only 1 washer/dryer and town facility isn't good. Great staff!
There are actually two camping areas. If you want a pull through site, you are way out in the grassy field and probably alone. The back in sites are closer to the frontage road, have paved roads and are well lit. The sites here are a good size and level. The Wi-Fi is excellent. The office staff could not be more helpful. You must like trains!
Rate reflects Passport America for one night. Beautiful park with large, level sites. Escort to site and cookies upon arrival. Great pond for fishing and swimming. Huge field for walking dogs. Friendly, helpful staff. Great for kids and adults alike. Would give a ten, but WiFi was not working. We had an emergency repair to make and staff could not have been more helpful.
Large sites and lots of grass. Very quiet and close to town. Friendly staff and escort to site. Wi-Fi not accessible sites, only office. No laundry. Needed to do some serious leveling. Still, would come again.
Sites are very tight in the transient row. Many permanent rigs and some quite messy. Had some druggies behind us who were rather scary. Wi-Fi did not work. Nice field to walk dogs. No one in office as there is no office. Only one washer and dryer.
Rate reflects weekly rate. Long, pull-through sites and fairly level. Some trash blown through the campground. Nice pond stocked with fish. Excellent Wi-Fi. Very quiet. No noise from highway or permanent residents. A flock of geese to eat your stale bread. Laundry is fine - 5 washers. Take a site close to the pond away from the rest of the crowd.
It is over priced for a parking lot. The sites are not level. Only two washers/dryers. Dogs are allowed to run loose. The trash was all around dumpster, not inside. Booked for three nights, stayed two. Would be better off dry camping.
Only a few pull through sites, so arrive early. Sites are a good size, but not very level. Wi-Fi is excellent. 2 free margaritas at check in. Can use the hotel facilities, pool, exercise room, etc. A good deal for the money.
This park is occupied with old permanents. Poor Wi-Fi, but good cable. No place to walk the dog, except in a nasty pit. Highway noise is loud. Would not recommend other than an overnight on the way to Zion.
Hook ups and Wi-Fi worked fine. Site was level. This is an open field with no amenities. Showers cost $.25 a MINUTE! Bring your supplies. A gallon of milk at the local market is $6 and a box of Triskets is $5. Propane is $4.50 a gallon. However, you are only a mile from the park entrance.
This is the only game in town. Sites are tight and un-level. Very poor Wi-Fi. However; tours of the valley are excellent. Grocery shop before you go as the local market is expensive and closest grocery store is 25 miles.
This park is a gem! HUGE sites! All utilities included in the rate. Super laundry. Paved roads. Fenced dog run. Great hiking trails through the desert, some are led. Coffee and doughnuts every Monday and bonfire every Saturday. Excellent Wi-Fi. Friendly, helpful staff. Would give it a 10, except there is no pool and no bath house.
This small, quiet park is a gem. Great Wi-Fi, friendly staff, catch and release fishing. Sites are a bit tight, but level and lots of grass. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to shopping, Santa Cruz and Monterey. Rate reflects extra charge for dog. A bargain for sure.
Paved sites are a bit sloped, but you can level. Great staff and good Wi-Fi in paved area. Gravel sites are close to stadium and noise. Will have to use air card here. Super dog park. Small laundry has no folding table.
Very clean park with paved, level sites. Fenced dog park. Every building has a combo lock and a phone to call either management or 911. Big negative is the iffy Wi-Fi, so you better have an air card. WalMart within 2 miles.
Basic parking lot RV park. Sites gravel and not very level. Okay for an overnight. Casino has a restaurant that offers reasonable priced meals. If you don't want to unhook or cook, this will work. Very quiet.
Very, very small park. Mostly back-ins. Level, gravel sites. One pull-through on river. Restrooms locked at night. Laundry needs a good cleaning. Restaurant/fuel on premises. Very basic and few amenities.
Clean park. Good size, level gravel sites. Escort to site. Good laundry. Excellent Wi-Fi. Large pet walk outside park. Close to town. Friendly staff. Many permanents along periphery, but sites kept neat.
This is the best place to stay in Bozeman. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. Sites are a bit small, but level. Excellent Wi-Fi and clean, reasonably priced laundry. We will always stay here when we are in Bozeman and recommend you do too.
Attitude of owner and appearance of park rate this place a three. Very small sites with little or no grass. Campground in dire need of maintenance. Not at all pet friendly. Hot water turned off in showers at night. Stayed here because all other campgrounds were booked.
This is a beautiful park. Large, level sites. Excellent Wi-Fi and cable. Lovely landscaping and super friendly staff (and owners). Pet friendly and convenient to downtown. Laundry/restrooms spotless. Close to the interstate. An adult park. Highly recommend.
I know why this is the best kept secret! It has nothing to offer except a view. Sites are very tight and side by side. Only a port-a-potty. It is basically a parking lot in a field surounded by a cow pasture. It was quiet, however. It is self check-in. Mountain views were wonderful.
Sites were tight. Park well maintained. Must walk dogs off site and the only off site was a path through the woods. Which was fine until my neigbor told me about the bears and cougars! Mostly permanents. Landscape very hilly and difficult to walk. Friendly staff. No WiFi.
Spotless! We don't use pool/restrooms, so this was not a problem. Owners on site and very helpful. Very quiet, no planes or trains. Convenient to town and coast. Many activities locally. Large pull through sites. Golf course ($10 for 9 holes). Great Wi-Fi. Would recommend and would stay here again. Did charge extra for more than 1 dog.
Many permanents. Fairly large sites. Wi-Fi iffy, at best. Need to walk dogs OUTSIDE of the park. Laundry room does not open until 9 am. No dog pens on grass. Only asset was the resident dog walker, who was a delight. Very close to shopping and Portland attractions. If you have no pets and no kids, you might like this campground.
Park is clean and beautifully landscaped. No x-pens allowed on the grass and dogs not allowed to "go" except in a very small fenced in area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not a good place for kids or dogs. However, if you don't have either, it would be a great place to stay for a while. It is close to everything and it is super clean.
Small, very clean park. Nice dog area. Large pull-through sites. Great Wi-Fi and cable. Getting there across very, very narrow bridge is a white knuckle drive, and there is a toll. All attractions and groceries are across bridge (and another toll). Friendly, helpful staff. Would stay here again.
Due to all the rain, the place was a swamp. Half of laundry dryers were out of order, and it was $2 to wash and same to dry in small machines. Grounds and buildings in need of maintenance and upgrading. Overpriced, unless you like highway noise. Would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it.
Well maintained and clean park. Excellent WiFi. Huge laundry with 15 washers. Sites level. 15 minutes from everything in Missoula. Rate reflects medical discount. 3 dog parks. Friendly staff. We were here for 6 weeks and everyday was a good experience. I would highly recommend this park, especially for a long term stay.
This campground is beautiful. Overlooking the city with Pike's Peak behind you is spectacular. Sites are paved and level. Large patios and fire pits. Hiking trails and even a laundry. Deer passing by your rig in the morning. Close to everything in The Springs.
A beautiful, clean campground. Lovely trees, level sites, pet walk. Some of the sites have large cement patios, one even has a hot tub. Friendly and helpful staff. Free Wi-Fi excellent. Would highly recommend this campground. Right off I-25 and close to I-90.
Rate reflects Passport America. Site are not level. Staff is friendly and there is a herd of bison in the field beyond. Restaurant on site and lots of playground equipment. I think this would be a fun place in the summer, not April.
Very tight sites (14'8" wide). Old c/g. Old, dirty permanent rigs in most of the sites. Dog walk was a 15x30 gravel lot. Warning signs to keep pets off the grass. Wi-Fi is not free. Staff was friendly and did not charge for dogs ($1 per day per dog). Close to Coors and Lookout Mtn. Would not stay here again.
The pull-through sites were large, w/ concrete pad, patio, table and firepit. The grounds were spotless and the staff friendly. Lots of mule deer and rabbits. Close to everything. There is a day-use fee of $9, so consider annual pass. I would give this campground a 10 if the laundry construction was finished.
Friendly staff. Wide sites. Many permanents in old rigs with lots of stuff around. Laundry is honor system and clean. Would rate much higher except for the roads. The posted 5 MPH speed limit is too high! Difficult to walk and even more difficult to drive. Be very careful with your fiver.
Wide sites with concrete pads. 1/3 permanents: all with neat, clean sites. New bath house/laundry under construction. Great pool. Fenced dog park. Friendly owners on site. Came for four days and stayed two weeks.
Poor WiFi. Gravel, unlevel, narrow sites. Fabulous view with many birds. Old park needs modernizing. Many activities for joiners. Lots of permanents. Rate reflects monthly rate. Wind constant. Park grounds very clean.
Except for laundry (only 2 machines), this park would be a 10. HUGE, level concrete sites with plenty of grass. Spotless, well maintained grounds. Friendly staff. Great dog park. Easy access and wide concrete interior roads. Park is gated. We stayed for a week.
Long, level sites. Excellent Wi-Fi reception. Friendly staff. Very nice, reasonable priced laundry. Convenient to town and Wal-Mart. Highway noise and the occasional train no problem with windows closed. We were very pleased with this campground and would recommend it if you stay a night or a week.
Nice wide level sites. Pristine bathrooms. Very clean park and very friendly staff. Excellent Wi-Fi reception. The only negative was the highway noise, but with AC on and windows closed, it was not a major problem. Pet and kid friendly. Would not recommend the restaurant.
Sites were very tight and not level. There was no grass and all sites were tiered, making walking difficult. WiFi did not reach our site. Staff was not very helpful, although we did have an escort to our site. On a positive note, the view was spectacular.
Sites on lower level are tight. On the upper level there is no grass. WiFi is excellent, however. Staff was friendly and the nightly entertainment was okay. This is so close to everything in Medora that the few negatives are not that important.
This park is NOT big-rig friendly. The roads are very narrow with switchbacks. The sites are very, very tight. Cannot fit a 38' fiver in any available site, however there is another campground 25 miles away. If you camp in a pop-up or anything smaller than 30 foot, you should be fine.
If you like camping in a glorified parking lot, this is for you. You must park your tow vehicle on your site. That means you cannot sit under your awning. The owner is of the attitude that the rules do not apply to her. There is not a bit of shade, no place to walk the dogs on site, and an incredible list of rules, all for $50 a night. I would not recommend this park to anyone, nor will I ever stay here again.
Level, concrete pads. Spotless bathrooms and laundry. Beautiful grounds. Owners could not have been more helpful. Convenient to everything. Stayed a week with our Schipperkes. Highly recommend this campground!
