The park was very well maintained, felt new. The laundry and showers were also new. 20 minutes from east entrance to Yellowstone. We used this as our base into Yellowstone for 4 days, worked well.

Great for overnight stopover - we had read reviews and knew what to expect. Easy in and out, close to highway, good stopping point for our day of travel south to Colorado from Yellowstone. Surprisingly very little road noise. Sites were level, easy self-registration. Couldn't get Wi-Fi to work, but didn't pursue it. Restrooms and laundry are in a mobile - clean!

Very accommodating staff, friendly with kids. Hot tub was nice way to end the long day of driving from Rushmore. Level sites, easy in and out. We were in one of the end sites so had a lot of extra room to spread out (chairs, bicycles).

I didn't pay much attention to the "Big Rig Friendly" checkbox on other reviews because we travel with a 36' 5er. Well, it was tight! We made it, good thing my husband is an excellent driver. The sights are not long enough to keep the truck hooked up. If you're not confident in your driving/towing skills, this is not the place to stay. It is VERY convenient to Mount Rushmore. Well maintained and the staff is friendly/helpful.

Bare bones campground but worked well for our family. We stayed here for the Perseid meteor shower (touted as "1 of 3 darkest places in Texas") Nice open space for the kids to roam.

We just needed a place to stay overnight and this is perfect. Crowded, small spaces, but shady with a pool and playground for the kids. Would stay here again.

We stayed here 2 nights - good service; well maintained, clean campground; clean pool; wifi was a little sketchy. It is not really close to anything but it worked well while we were on a big trip, passing through Kansas. We visited the Underground Salt Mines in Hutchinson while there - very interesting!

We stayed here for an overnite stop while visiting family. It is definitely not a place to "hang out" but is well located for visiting Norman. We stayed here with our 2 children and felt safe to have them ride their bicycles in the parking lot (no cars around). There is a community garden adjacent to the RV parking and we were fortunate to be there while gardeners were in there and we received fresh figs! There are also 2 red foxes that roam the campground around 9p :-)
