Great place for family. Beach area on lake, canoe and paddle boat rentals and miles of hiking/biking trails. The sites are somewhat easy to access, most are level, but narrow. There are also limited sewer hook up sites, but water and electric are available on all RV sites. Plenty of shade through out the park. There are also 2-3 playgrounds available for the kids. Overall, this campground was fun, clean and enjoyable. Keep in mind that if you want to fish, a state fishing permit is required and are a bit pricey for non-residents.

The park was extremely clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly as well. There are several gas grills around the campgrounds that are available, making grilling out easy. All sites are level and are gravel (the gravel posed no problems). There are several rental cabins and permanent sites. Clean laundry facility too. Great view of the mountain and having Tallulah Falls, Glen Falls and Sky Mountain within just a few miles, what a great place to stop and stay. We stayed 6 nights and would highly recommend River Vista Mountain Village to our friends and family. We will stay here again
