It was ok if you like being snug! You are really close together here. And unlevel gravel spots. The dog area isn't very good. There is a whole section in the back with full time residents in various living abodes. But quiet, clean and a good location. Stayed here 4 nights. The cable wasn't clear on all the channels, and we had a tree by our satellite so couldn't use the Directv, which was a bummer! We'd stay here again.
Would have given it more stars if the price was $20 less. It's a parking lot with hook-ups, which is ok, but not worth 49.95 that we paid for a "premium" site. The was a generator running all night in the RV across from us. Don't know why, they were plugged into 50 Amps. There was nobody to call to report this. Only number after hours was for emergencies, and it wasn't one. They advertise 24 hour security patrol, so don't know why they didn't have them shut it off. According to the rules, no generators are allowed to run. The brochures they hand you are leftover from when they were at the Reno Hilton. They just staple a very hard to read map copy with some notices on the back. They run sprinklers at night that flood your site, including the picnic table. And no warning that they do it either. The first night our rug got soaked. They do have 24 hour shuttle service to the casino, which is handy. Check-in was fast with friendly folks. But, we won't stay here again unless the price is reduced!
We've stayed here 3 times on our way to somewhere else. It hasn't been crowded which is good because the sites are real close together. They don't clean often as there were dog droppings in our sites each time we were there. Numerous burrs in the grass makes it tough to walk your dog.
Nice place. Noisy trains, which ran all night long. Only downside was even though it wasn't very full, everyone was next to each other. Told us the gate would be locked at 6 so gave us a gate code when we reserved out spot, but someone was there when we arrived at 6:45. Nice area for walks. River runs through the park with sites right next to it.
We stayed for a week. Overall a good place to stay. Quiet, nice dog area, great location. The reason they don't want you leaving your dogs in the RV all day is fire hazard. They've had 2 RV fires where they rescued dogs. But, if you are going to dinner, store, etc. for a couple hours it's not a problem. They water every day, for hours. Coming from the desert we cringe at the waste of water! They do have Wifi now, although not the greatest service. Goes in and out. Didn't get all the cable TV selections as listed, and most were fuzzy. The dish would not work due to all the trees. When we made our reservations they were very helpful in making sure we got a pull through. Yes, it's cash only, and you must send a check for reservations. Makes you carry extra cash for a long stay. We would stay here again.
