Rate reflects a monthly rate of $485. Electric is extra and very high. Ours was $105. Still think they read the meter wrong as I have never paid that much anywhere else, the most we ever paid was $72. Nice park right on the river. We enjoyed the views. Wi-Fi is iffy depending on how many people are in the park. 40 channels on the TV. Clean laundry room, did not like the showers, though. There is no privacy and you have to pay to use, which is ridiculous at a RV Resort. Needless to say, we did not use them. Would probably come back if we got a spot on the river, but they will not guarantee these spots. If you are staying a month make sure you read the meter when you check in.
Have used this park many times going from AZ to Or. It has steadly gone down hill. The bathrooms are not very clean, the pool was even dirty looking. The hot tub was not very hot. The new area for overnighters is right next to the train tracks and the train runs all night long. Think it is time to try somewhere new.
The only reason I did not give this campground a 10 is that it has no cable hookup. This park is a gem. Like camping in the woods of a state park. The owner and his helper sidekick are very friendly and helpful. They want you to be comfortable. If you are lucky to be here on a Saturday night they have a wonderful all you can eat salmon and BBQ chicken feed. With entertainment. It was fun sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoying the great music. They have a resident goat and some chickens. The owner gave us fresh eggs for breakfast one morning. They were awesomely good. They have 3 different venues. #1 is on top of a hill with a grassy area and picnic tables and a fire pits. Wi-Fi is great up here, not so great the rest of the park. They need to improve on that a bit, it would be nice to get it all over the park. Section #2 Is in the woods some full hookups and some tent sites. Section #3 is in the meadow area, with a play area for kids. There is some 40 acres to explore. Enjoy! We camped her for 1 month, which reflects on the price listed.
The rate reflects PPA. This is a nice park on a lake with lots of birds. The showers are hot and clean. There is a small store a pub with pizza and sandwiches. Nice long pull through sites. We would stay here again.
The daily rate reflects a montly charge. I gave this park a low rating because of the service from the office personnel. We made our reservations 3 months in advance for a end spot with a view of Mt. Rainier. When we arrived they had given our spot away. They said it was a mistake. When my husband asked if we could have a different spot on the top level they said no, they were all reserved. I guess they can give our spot away but not other people's spots. I asked when are the people in my spot leaving she said Saturday. I told her I wanted to move into our spot on Sat. She said that would be a problem as it would create a lot of extra paper work for her. I told her that was her problem. While this whole process was taking place she had her TV blaring watching some movie with the F word flying out non stop. Nothing I wanted to hear. That is for sure. We finally got to our spot on Sat. Went to take a shower; afterwards I was handed a towel and told to clean up the floor. Because I had forgotten to use the bath mat. I had my sandals on and was also asked to clean the shower floor. In my mind this is not how you treat your renters. The office personnel were constantly watching us as we did our laundry & took showers. Some of the personnel are non stop smokers and make the showers and laundry room a very unpleasant smell from all the ashtrays sitting around. They also advertise on their web site that they have an exercise room which they do not have. They do have a room with a pool table and a ping pong table. Sites are close together, but if you are lucky and get a good spot you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier. They also charge $20 extra for an end spot. Most of the tenants live here year round. This campground has potential if they get rid of the people who work there and get someone who knows what customer service means. We will not be back.
The rate we paid reflects the monthly rate. BE AWARE THIS PARK IS NEXT TO A SEWAGE POND!! When the wind is right it really stinks, and it seems like the wind is always right. The lady in the office is very friendly and nice. But this park is over run with kids and dogs. You can never get in the pool as it is filled with kids from morning to night. It clearly states that no one under 18 is allowed in the hot tub, but it is always full of children. Many full timers here with junk around their RV's. Many people tie their dogs to trees and leave, and there is non stop barking all day. We probably will not return.
This park is right on the river. Nice view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only negative is that the sites are very close together. We were nestled in between two very old and dumpy RVs. Nice clean laundry though.
This rate reflects the weekly rate. We really liked this park. Lots of shade nice pool and friendly staff. Just a bit expensive, but close to many attractions. Spots are a bit close but we were lucky and had a end spot. We stayed here 2 weeks. Would come again.
