This state park is a gem of a small park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in site 8. Great tree area at picnic table. Level site, very quiet and the sunsets and wildlife are great. This is the third trip and we will be back.
Very quiet campground. We stayed in the north creek area 30 amps with sewer; the 50 amp with sewer sites were not very level. Staff was very helpful. Restrooms were clean. Nice hiking trails and a nice small lake. We will stay here again.
Very nice smaller park, but will accept large rigs we had a site along the lake; believe we were told it was 40'. Great hiking trails; clean restrooms and showers were individual which would be nice. Very well stocked park store and a great small lake (65 acres I believe). We will return
All the sites had level concrete pads and nice separations between sites. Restroom was clean . They have a laundry on site. We will be coming back to stay. Wish they would allow reservations though. Would have given this site a 10 if reservations were allowed
At first we had site 46 which is a pull through and was a really nice "level site" but when attempting to level the motor home each time the back wheels were off the ground by 6". So we were able to move to site 51. We always enjoy this park and find it to be very clean. The staff are helpful. The park is very quiet. Just check out the sites if you need a level one for bigger rigs (33' and longer)
Small park but very clean, sites are far apart staff is exceptional in helping you out. We camped here in site 8 this weekend was very windy but we still enjoyed the peace and quiet. Deer every night. The historical area with the hospital, barracks, houses were outstanding do not miss going through the buildings. We will be coming back
The premium sites are very nice. We were in site 69. There was no one in front so we had a great water view. Sites are level, with full hook ups. They have had a lot of trees die off and have been cut down. Still a very nice park
Very nice park as sites are spaced far apart and level. We could not see our neighbors on either side due to the trees. TV reception not available due to trees limbs, but will come back. Do not use google maps as they send you to the wrong side of the park.
Our site was short as was most in the loop we stay in. We had asked for a water view but found out all the sites are on a bluff and the trees cover the water views. Park ranger did notify all of us to a major pending wind storm. We will not return to this park as others are nicer.
Had a level site, nice area with picnic table and fire pit. Our site was on the point so we had water on two sides, and could watch the sunset and sun rise. They had lifted the burn ban, so we were able to have a camp fire. Very clean and well kept. Restrooms were typical of COE but were clean. We will stay again.
The staff was very helpful when we arrived helping us to get a nice shady and level site. We had brought our kayaks with us so they also try to get us near the water. It is very clean, and quiet. We went on an Owl Prowl Friday night that park put on really cool we saw barr owls and listened to them call each other. This park is on our list to re visit several times as it was beautiful.
