Pinto Lake Park is a quiet, reasonably priced place to park. Management were very accommodating, though sticklers for rules which included quietude at night and enforcement of space boundaries. The Lake (reservoir)is gorgeous with inexpensive peddle boat rentals. Many waterfowl made use of the water and surrounding shoreline. The setting is rural with orchards and farms nearby. For myself, who chooses bus rather than scoot around in my motorhome, an excellent Santa Cruz Metro service bus stop adjoins the park. I'll stay again next year.

Seacliff Center Trailer Park is a delightful place to stay if you like the ocean and the Santa Cruz area in particular. It is a very short walk to swimming, sunning, fishing from Seacliff Pier, the cement boat, Visitor's Center and museum—all are within two blocks of the park. Nearby are this hamlet's quaint shops and restaurants which attract locals and visitors alike. It is a quiet, cozy tree-bordered park adorned with beautiful, flowering plants. The restrooms and showers are clean although a bit weathered. Seacliff Center's rates are very reasonable for the area whether for short or long-term stay. The Seacliff community is small, rural and safe—State Park Drive being frequented by California State Park rangers, and local and state police. Residents embrace the outdoor life—frequently biking, jogging, hiking, skate-boarding and the like. This RV park provides a very nice place to visit for those of us who do not require posh amenities, those of us who enjoy being in the midst of the unspoiled beauty of this secluded neck of the California Coast."
