This was our first stay at Anastasia. We've already made reservations for January. The campground is very nice, especially for a "beach park". Sites are deep, secluded and shady. The beach is nice. They own a ton of land. St. Augustine has a wonderful historic area. Great food! A great park!

As long as you understand that this place is basically a fish camp, you're fine. We loved our stay here! We weren't right on the water but, had the view. It's a place where you want to have a boat. There is no beach to speak of but, a great large dock/deck to sun on and enjoy the sunsets. The owner is a joy. It's nothing fancy, but location location location. One down side; closest real grocery store is 20 miles, so stock up.

I wish I could give this place a good review but. It really does feel like a back yard. The owner insists on "backing you in" to your site and hooking up your electric. A little too much for us. Then my wife got in trouble for walking our dogs in the wrong place before we even knew the right place. We chopped our stay to one night. There is one unisex bathroom/shower for the park. Good luck if the park is full!

We've been visiting this park for the last 3-4 years, because you can get into it, unlike our state park. The park is rural, and off the beaten path but, we like that! They have been steadily improving it. The road is now paved, and now they even take credit cards. This is real camping in rustic Florida. And yes, there are bugs.
