This year we canoed the lower lake and made it to the spill way where the kids enjoyed walking down the slanted concrete hill. The showers had awesome water pressure and plenty of hot water. We really enjoy this campground and look forward to it every year. I did ask about the location of the dump station and was given directions, as it was about 3/4 of a mile away from the campground. There is a general store off of the campground where you can purchase forgotten supplies. We will be going back next year. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I wrote the last review and we went again this year. If you have a chance to hike to the "Balancing Rock" due so. It's a must see of what the glaciers left behind. We had a great time this year as well. We look forward to visiting next year. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This state campground was very nice. The sights are roomy and spread out. The roads were great for the kids to ride bikes on. There is a campers only swimming beach that was nice. The lake also was great for canoeing, kayaking as engine powered boats are not allowed. There's a wildlife viewing center, but we didn't see any animals. We did take the short hike to the fire tower and if you are brave enough to climb the steps there is a beautiful view from the top. My wife and youngest son only made it a quarter of the way up. The campground was patrolled often by a D.A.R. State Forest employee (I don't know if it was because it was a holiday weekend). Oh, they do not have a dump station as it says on Reserveamerica's web site. We would definitely go back again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
