Wonderful private park. Very small with only 8 sites. Most were long term but all were well maintained and had newer rigs. One block to Lake LBJ and a fishing dock. In the middle of town but quiet. An absolutely gorgeous clubhouse. This park is a real gem. Reservations are essential. Owners live nearby and take great pride in their park. Absolutely would come back and would recommend it to anyone who wants quiet and a quality park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
A return visit for us. This is a great little campground and the owners take great pride in maintaining it for their guests. Very good free Wi-Fi service and good over the air TV reception from Austin. It has one unisex restroom-shower combination which is kept spotless. Large clubhouse with cable TV available. Honor system laundry facilities. The previous reviews are accurate on. Pay with cash or check only. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This past weekend was our 2nd time to stay here. The husband and wife owners are the nicest people in the world. They greet you when you arrive and help you set up. It is a small park located in the city of Kingsland. The sites are nice and level with a cement patio and outside furniture (table and chairs) at each site. The office includes laundry and restrooms with showers which are the nicest we have ever seen. We will stay here anytime we can in the future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
An oasis in the desert. A small, well maintained park. Owners called us to insure they would be available to direct us to a site. Only 1 unisex bathroom / shower, but it was spotless. “Honor System” laundry facilities. Cable TV available in the clubhouse. Limited over the air TV. Very good free Wi-Fi. Pay with cash or check only. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I thought I would update my previous review of this park. We spent two months at the park this past winter. The clubhouse has been completed. They did a beautiful job having used upscale fixtures. There are two washers and two dryers. This is unusual for a small park. There is a large screen TV, couches, chairs, and dinning area. There is a complete kitchen. This would be a great place for a reunion. It is my understanding that they are already taking reservations for winter Texans. Not sure what the monthly rate will be this winter. We paid $350.00 plus electric. We will use this park any time we are in the area We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a brand new park. The pull-thru sites are long, wide and level. Each site has a large concrete patio along with nice grass and curbing. We have a 40' motorhome with four slides and we had plenty of room. These spaces are large enough for any size rig. There is additional parking for boat trailers and such. A boat ramp is located just a few blocks away. Cell service is excellent. The Wi-Fi is free and strong. The clubhouse is about 75% finished and will have bathrooms, laundry and clubroom. The owners are wonderful hosts. They are very knowledgeable of the area and will do everything possible to make your stay a great experience. This is a great park to use as a home base for exploring the area. After visiting other parks in the Kingsland area, this is the only park we would consider staying in. We camped here in a Motorhome.
