A very convenient and pleasant campground as we came from Whitehorse and did not want to go into Watson Lake because we were taking the Cassiar Highway. Well wooded, level sites. We had a pull-through. Free firewood as occurs in many Yukon government campgrounds. No hookups, of course. We would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Another gem of a Yukon government campground. Large sites, pull-throughs and back-ins, along the Alaska Highway. Facility manager keeps the campground tidy and full of firewood. Very convenient overnight stop if you are turning on to, or off of, the Cassiar Highway. Big rig friendly. Right off the Alaska Highway, but little traffic noise. Spots fill up early during the travel season so stop early to get the prime locations. 25 miles northwest of the Cassiar Highway junction and services. No cell coverage. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This small Yukon Government campground is right beside the Alaska Highway, which makes it very convenient, but also means there is some road noise. However, the highway quiets down considerably at night, so it is not a big problem. It is along Big Creek with only a couple of sites actually on the river. If you get there early enough to have a choice, Site 3 has the best river view, followed by Site 2. The sites are fairly well separated by distance and some vegetation, but not completely private. Overall, it is a very pleasant setting. As with all Yukon Government campgrounds, there is no dump station and the water source is a hand pump with a notice to boil the water before use, so you will want to arrive with fresh water and plan on hauling out your waste water. There are vault toilets. There is free camp fire wood, which they request you conserve. We had no signal on our Verizon phone. The trees precluded the use of a satellite for internet. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Small campground, big rig friendly and Big Mosquito friendly. We got ate up in fact they were so aggressive they were getting in through a small hole in a compartment and we finally got tired of fighting them pulled in the slides and left at 4 in the morning, but thats not the park's fault. I would stay here again, just stay away from the trees as much as possible. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A typical Yukon campsite. We had a nice pull-through that was mostly level. We would have loved to take advantage of the free firewood but it rained from the minute we arrived. We would probably return to this campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great little campground along the AK Hwy at mile Km 1042. It is about 20 miles (west) from the junction of the Cassiar Hwy. and about 30 miles from Watson Lake. We had a pull thru that was about 70 foot long. We were right next to the creek. They have pit toilets and a water pump. There are bins of free firewood. There is no dump station. There are picnic tables and fire pits. We didn't have to unhook. Its a great stop over for the night or a good spot to just site and relax for a few days. There is a little highway noise. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
