New owners are improving and modernizing park. Park is able to accommodate big rigs with 15 foot clearance. Staff is very nice and quite helpful. Will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an old park 3.5 miles north of I-80, which guarantees no highway noise. The name pretty much says it all. It is definitely rustic. Maybe primitive is a better word. Resort; not close. We were welcomed with a friendly smile and were directed downhill on a narrow, winding, tree-lined drive to a "pull-in" which meant we drove across the grass to one of the terraced sites and pulled in, toad and all. Glad the ground was dry. The row of six pull-through sites is in a grove of beautiful old pines and firs with some long-term sites around the perimeter. They are all well kept. There was only 30 amp service. but voltage was 110, with no circuit breaker. We were careful how many amps we drew. Definitely not big rig friendly. However, we needed minimal leveling, and we were pretty much shade covered. Forget satellite. Verizon signal was strong, as was Verizon MiFi. If you don't mind maneuvering a bit, and can deal with 30 amps, this is certainly OK for an overnight stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Office staff friendly. Park in 3.5 miles off I-80. Good for overnight stay no more than that. Half the park is seasonals. We camped here in a Motorhome.
