What a wonderful discovery. This is family oriented park and has plenty for the kids to do. Has about 6 miles of hiking trails with little things to discover along the way. Park was fairly empty while we were here and was so peaceful. Owners were on site and involved. Camp host was very nice and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice, quiet park, family friendly. Owners are on site and involved. Camp hosts were very nice. There are many tall pine and hardwood trees. Most sites are very shady. Wonderful walking trails, about 6 miles of them intersecting each other. They have put little "treasures" along the way, making it a fun whimsical walk. They also put some benches out along some ravine overlooks, nice for a quiet rest. Nice little playground and a covered pavilion for gatherings. The store and office are clean and well stocked. Our verizon phones and wifi card worked great. We didn't use the park wifi, but they do have it. Could only make one criticism and its a small one, a couple of campers had strung up clotheslines for some items, it looked a little "off"..but it did not deter our overall enjoyment of this park. This is worth getting off the road for..a great park to rest and relax..Lake Livingston and other things to do are within driving distance. We would come back here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a fairly new park. It has spacious sites and big rig friendly. Lots of shade. The campground has lots of walking trails with neat stuff to find. The staff was very friendly. The restrooms were clean and actually pretty. The restrooms also are air conditioned. They have a store within walking distance from any site. We would stay here again. Only drawback is there is no swimming. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a new RV park that is barely a year old. Each site has full hookups and the Wi-Fi works very well. All sites are large with amble room for very large rigs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly park that welcomes snowbirds but does not have permanent residence like many other parks I have been to. There are lots of trees for shade and lots of trails for hiking. We camped here in a Motorhome.
