This is a very friendly campground and the manager, is terrific. The sites are extremely close together, it's basically a trashy looking campground, extremely difficult to access the highway or move in and out of the campground. We very much enjoyed the other campers and the view of the water. It is not a place I will be running back to but if in the area, I would not have a problem staying there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Campground is compact but accessible for good drivers. Primarily used by long term (i.e. 4+ months) semi-permanent rigs and room/apartment renters. No site privacy available here. Not suitable for families with children. Great fishing boat access available. Low rates are greatest asset. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We ended up liking this place more than we thought we would. A bit crowded, but nice pool and friendly people. Nice to be able to walk to stores and restaurants near by. Showers could use some work. Grounds were well kept. We would go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We got site 51 which is a great location right on the water. I imagine if you had a more inland site, the mark would be less. No privacy at all, but not really a big deal for us. Sitting by the water is fantastic, watching the sun go down. Owners seem very friendly and the restrooms are the best so far. Great rate of $60 We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is mostly permanent Trailers. There were only a few sites for Transients like us. There were a couple of permanent older buildings with full-time residents. Most sites were in the trees and very small we could not fit in. The site we had was on the water and had a great view. There were 3 other sites the same as ours. The manager was very friendly and helpful to find the correct site for us, as we could not fit in our original site. The laundry was cleaned after we mentioned it needed attention. Most of the people were friendly except the ones who spoke French. We extend our stay since the view and location of our new site was good. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
