Nice paved roads with gravel sites. Has fire rings at each site and baths are conveniently located. Nice lake for boating and fishing. Close to Honey Creek Resort state park which has a motel, restaurant, water park and golf course. These are all accessible without a park vehicle day use permit. Wish there were some walking trails. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One of the best camping stops we have ever made. Excellent place, neat as a pin. I wouldn't be afraid to camp next to the water, looked level, but not when I searched using Google Earth. We did go by the marina campground at Buck Creek, I wouldn't recommend that section, as it was full of "full-timers," and very crowded. We stayed in loop B. The RV dump was very good on the way out of the campground. Excellent view of the lake, very quiet, a few digital stations over the air TV. I would recommend staying a week. We were using US Route 34, so no interstates are nearby. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here often on our travels back and forth across the country. It is a nice COE campground with electrical hookups and pleasant sites with space around them. The campground is situated on a small arm of what is a big lake and if boating and fishing is your thing, this is a great place to be. And even if you are not a boater, this is a quiet, pleasant campground and a nice place to spend some time. We'll be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
