Great small park atmosphere. We toured all the area parks and this is by far the best. With the best river access. Only reason we did not give a 10 is that they do not have a laundry room. But there is 2 within 5 miles. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Not really that high for this area. Very pretty park and is fairly tight, however, the sites are full hookup, level and free Wi-Fi. Short walk down to the Frio River and they have some beautiful riverfront area. If you have friends that need a cabin, they have some of the best looking ones in the canyon. The back ins are probably wider than the pull throughs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very close to the Frio River; you can walk down to it. Has ice, firewood, and tube rental on site. Has free wi-fi. Very nice management. Cabins are super nice; we had friends in one of them. It is a dirt campground, not paved, that's the only thing I didn't like, hence my 9 rating. Expect to get dirty. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is very small, only 28 sites. Most are back in, fairly level but none paved. The few pull throughs (3 or 4) that are available are that in name only. Because of it size this is not friendly to big motorhomes and requires a lot 3 and 4 point turns to manage your way back out. If you are pulling another vehicle, forget about it. The owner is usually on site and is very friendly and helpful. It is quiet, but a long walk down to the river. We found the park "ok" but overpriced for what was offered. We would not likely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have been here for 3 nights and will be here another 4 nights. If you pay for 6 nights, you get the 7th night free. If you are looking for an on-site gift shop, preplanned entertainment, crowds, noise or a nearby mall, this is NOT your destination. If you like unobstructed views of a night sky so full of stars you can almost touch them, this is your spot. If you want so much quiet you can hear your own heartbeat from the other side of the park, its here. Bring your camera because you will fill up the memory with the most amazing images from here and nearby venues. The owners are top notch and we will absolutely be back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

There are no bathhouse/restrooms. Small park with shade. Sites are a little close together and a couple of them are hard to get to with a long trailer close to the front. Very nice place to stay. Next to the river. Owners/manager friendly. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
