This is a nice, clean campground built around an old gravel pit. The sites are a great size as we did not feel cramped at all. The sites are all grass and it is required that you only use a poly rug as to maintain the integrity of the grass. Their is plenty to do with the kids at this campground and they are pet friendly. There is also a nice size field next to the campground where you can run your dog. The only downside to this campground, in my opinion, is the lack of shade (immature trees) and you are out in the wide open countryside so it gets a bit windy at times. We liked this campground overall and our grand kids had a ball. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice WIDE level, grass sites and gravel roads at this family CG. Has a nice big gazebo with power and lights we used during a rally. Was peaceful and quiet. Sprint air card and cell phones just barely worked with exterior antenna and amp. Rooftop dish had no problem as trees are small. We did have power problems on the weekend when the CG was busy and everyone had their A/Cs running. We had to drop down to 30a as one 50a power leg dropped to 100v. A friend had to get 30a power from two sites away. I would rate this CG higher except for the poor weekend power. During the week it was OK as most sites were empty and it cooled down. Lots of activity on the small lake. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This campground was a former gravel pit! We had no sewer but the dump station was easy to access. There was a large lake and lots of permanents. We did have TV and Wi-Fi. The staff and the office itself were nice. We were only here for one night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very family friendly, wonderful activities, great swimming hole, pet friendly, and very clean. I only found that the owner lady was a bit rude; her husband on the other hand was nice and easy to talk to. Maybe she was having a bad week so I would go back; what are the chances of it happening again? We camped here in a Tent.
This park allows the Good Sam discount Sunday through Thursday. What a surprise in the country, a great park with great on site owners and very well maintained. Well laid out with a rally section. There are several lakes located on this former farm ground that Rvs can park around. There are some seasonal sites which are kept very neat. Propane is available by weight or metered gallons for on-board tanks. Well worth the 10 mile drive off US127. Access roads are fine as are the interior roads of this park. Would we return, YES. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We loved this campground. Price stated was based on weekly rate as well as Passport America. The owners and staff were very nice and very accommodating. The only negative we could find was that the nearest store was about eight miles away. We would definitely return here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
