A nice older park with lots of trees and large sites. Each site has a nice picnic table and fire pit and firewood is available. The services are reliable, easy to access and the WIFI although slow seems to work even in the trees. The roads in the park are very narrow with turns that are very tight for longer units. They have several sites they call pull-throughs but are really “pull-offs“ and for long units may impede access to adjacent sites. It's best to check site options before committing to a site. We would stay again if in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The rate is based on the weekly rate. The nightly rate is $28. The campground was very well supervised, making it nice and quiet at night. Wi-Fi was weak, and no OTA TV available. Too many trees for satellite TV. Roads were narrow and dusty (lack of rain). Sites are small and difficult to get in and out of with larger units. Showers were free. Great hiking and sight seeing in the area. An excellent place to stay with smaller units, but not suitable for those who want to party. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Campground is set among the forest with each site bordered by plentiful amounts of salal and trees. Roads are gravel and a bit narrow. Some long rigs may have trouble navigating the turns and backing into sites. Bathrooms are very clean. Wi-Fi, while not the quickest, worked well. Playground for the kids. Located west of Campbell River, just past Elk Falls Provincial Park. Definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
