I'm staying here for the Labor Day week NHRA Nationals. Being a gearhead, I frequently camp "at the track" at quite a few different motorsport events and I find this place to be quite a nice experience. And the event package price of $400, when spread out over the 8 nights of the event and considering that this is an event-oriented campsite, is pretty reasonable. The campground and the spots are fairly level, the roads are gravel and smooth and there is well maintained grass everywhere. I'll stay here again. I've paid as much before and gotten much less. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a campground in a field across from O'Reilly Raceway Park. There are some shaded sites along 2 tree lines. The rest of the campground is open. This is a race-oriented crowd, so be aware of the fireworks and music in the evenings. There is an sanitation dump for RVs. A short walk to the drag strip. If you're going to the oval track the walk is considerably longer. Generators are allowed. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
