This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we've ever stayed in, and we've done a lot of camping. There's only one big problem, road noise from the highway which runs along the cliff above the campground. Although you can't see the cars or trucks, you can hear them, all day and all night. Our campsite was right on the creek running through the campground, and we could still hear the trucks' engine brakes, despite the splashing water in the creek. Other than that, it's great, the sites are widely spaced, the trees are large, there's lots of shade and the whole thing is well-managed by a representative of Thousand Trails. The bathrooms are "vaults," but they are clean. Unfortunately, almost all of the forest service campgrounds near Mt. Hood are right near the highway, next time, we would probably stay in a more out-of-the-way place and "commute" to Mt. Hood. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
