Nice KY state campground. Bath houses not the cleanest, but pretty much like others owned by states. Our site was rather level, but the utilities were so far from the site that I either needed an extension cord or move the trailer off the gravel pad to reach, and I don’t have an extension cord. Sites are very roomy. Campground filled up for the weekend with mostly families with young, very active and noisy kids. Probably best to reserve site early. I reserved about a month in advance and all sites with sewer were not available. There are 3 dump stations though. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

When we arrived the attendant didn't even check to see if we really had reservations. We didn't get a window or post permit (we didn't know that one was already on the post) - I guess they trust everyone. This was a strange feeling campground. When we drove in people looked at us as if we had two heads. There were two cars parked in our spot when we arrived - had to wait for them to move before we could park. People set up camp where ever they wanted and made fires without rings. Strange very strange. The pool is a community pool (you have to pay to swim) and it's a little drive away from the campground. No camp store, so don't forget anything it's a drive to find a store. I don't want to complain any longer, this campground just wasn't for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice family campground. Lots of kids around, and some not so nice. The bath houses could use work. Like a sauna in the summer. Staff was so-so. The one that was the campground manager is a very rude person. The rest of the staff were ok though. Seen lots of people(campers) coming and going in the night with no camping permit on the poles, like they were traviling and did not pay. The staff don't bother to check either. Needs more attention in this area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A nice and quiet park that is relaxing, shaded, and has a nice lake to fish in. Only one playground though. There is a nice stream for them to wade in but there have been copperhead snakes found around the stream, especially in early spring so it is important to supervise children when around the stream. Nice staff and there is a mini golf course also. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Greenbo is a pretty campground. They have a friendly staff, but the grounds are in need of some upgrading. Most sites have a paved pad about 10-12 feet in length. Some sites have no pad at all and mud is an issue when the rains come. This park was one of the most popular in the seventies, and still draws quite a crowd. It has great potential if the state make a small investment. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is located in a narrow valley between hills. The sites are extremely small and uneven. They become very muddy when it rains. The staff was not friendly or helpful. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
