This is a small city park next to the interstate. Close to town. WiFi is available at nearby businesses. There is a public restroom which was moderately clean. No showers. There were several sites in which the water wasn't working, and some which had a constant leak. Check the water before setting up: guess how I figured that out! We did not see a manager and we were here 4 days. Payment is made in a Dropbox. We felt safe here but on our last day, our neighbor's car was stolen in broad daylight. It is unlikely that we would stay here again. There weren't many campers. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Cheap, however they've gone up to $15 a night - convenient to I-35 and downtown Gainesville, Texas. Walking distance to public library, (2 blocks) downtown historic square, (4) blocks, fast food dining, (2) blocks. You have to 'guess' which motorhome the park host is in. Very poor planning on that end. No signage whatsoever, cluing you in to find host to pay. Only downsides were way too close to Interstate traffic - you hear trucks from 200 yards away 24/7, and most of the RV park street lights are burned out. Spooky at night for that reason. I liked the RV park better when it was only $10 a night with a lockbox where you pay on the honor system much better. The park host is somewhat of a pest to get your payment on-the-spot when you arrive by chasing down to the site you select on your own. She did this to me the second night when I pulled in after doing some sightseeing around the area. Dumping fee only is $10. So, you might as well spend the night. The price is right, and that is my main concern when on the road. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Grassy, level sites. Adequate TV reception with antenna. Easy walk to McDonald's and Starbuck's for free WI-FI access. Payment was made in cash directly to on-site park host. Rather difficult to locate despite being directly adjacent to the Interstate. From exit, proceed directly on east side frontage road past Taco Bell and Quality Inn. Unmarked park follows and is between ball field and Interstate. May be a good overnight stay with proviso that there is heavy traffic, and therefore, noise, all night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a nice municipal park for $15.00 per night for full hook-ups. It is not a destination park but is extremely convenient to Interstate 35. The sites are long but, on the other hand, the hook-ups are at the end of the site and perfect for a trailer or a 5th wheel. We have a motorhome and, if we wanted to stay hooked-up to our Jeep, we could not hook-up to the sewer. However, we just swung around in the morning and dumped. Simple. We did not try the bathrooms and do not know if there are showers. The park is next to the baseball field and it was a real treat to watch the Varsity High School game. A real touch of Americana. However, the umps, the players and some of the fans park 3 to a campsite and, sometimes on game Friday nights, there are no campsites available. The park is close to the Braum's Ice Cream - what could be better? We walked through park of the town in the evening eating our ice cream and enjoyed the ambiance. We camped here in a Motorhome.
