I hate to be totally negative so, the 50 amp service was good. Wi-Fi was okay, but charged for each day. Hookups on wrong side of RV. Park Very run down. Lots were part grass part large rocks. Lots of old, I mean, Old trailers. We had reserved 5 days, when checking in changed that to 2. After 1 night, we left, they did refund the 2nd day lot rental. Staff was friendly. Would not camp here again We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Shady sites along riverbank or across the park along the Palisade wall (Kentucky River Palisades). Friendly staff. Clean park. Attentive personnel. Restrooms were clean & well maintained. Did not attempt showers in camp, though -- not sure how to operate these controls as there are no in-shower handles, etc. There is a large pool with no lifeguard. There is a camp store. The campground is reached via pavement, which descends from and turns around to go back beneath the bridge over the Kentucky River. You can see the campground from the Bridge looking west. It's on the South bank of the Kentucky River. Our site was on the river-bank side, about 30' above the water and on a considerable river ward slope. With the rain in the area, the grass site was soft and muddy, and we had a tough time leveling the camper. There are, however, large flat rocks piled along the riverbank against such needs. Roads in the park are graveled. The park staff patrols several times a day. Next time I'd try to get a site on the Palisade side, as I think those drain/ dry out better. We were grateful for the really big trees, though, as they sheltered our camper from the rain. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
