This is one of the worst campgrounds we've stayed in. Trash in our site (dirty diaper, cigarette butts, beer bottles and caps). We had a pull through site with no services, which is fine, we knew that beforehand. The park is NOT big rig friendly. We kept hitting fairly large branches on the narrow campground roads, which were full of potholes. Kids were everywhere, but I blame the parents for not keeping them off the roads. Neighbors played loud music, singing along, until 1 am. If you want to use the hot tub, its $20/ 30 minutes. Want to swim in the pool? $5 per person. You can boondock nearby for free, and that's what we'll do next time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed three nights to see the area. Our site was large enough for our large MDT and 5er and level. Water and electric and they have a dump station. Park caters to family and children as they have a lot of things for them. The park is also filled with seasonal RV's and very few sites for the traveling RV's. This park had numerous small children riding small bikes and 12 volt cars around on the roadways totally unsurpervised. It was very hard to drive through the park due to the children playing in the roadway. They advertised Wi-Fi Internet but when I checked in they stated they no longer had Wi-Fi and that it had been discontinued. Another boil water before using park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This large park (129 sites) is immediately adjacent to #1 Highway and is located behind a motel. One can hear the highway traffic during the day; it is very quiet and dark through the night. The park is on the south side of the road, seven miles east of the junction of TCH and Hwy 233. Interior roads are gravel and a bit unkempt; we drove very slowly to prevent rearranging our cupboards too much. Many of the sites look to be recently built with a lot of unserviced sites as well as a goodly number of 15amp/water sites. The park is FULL of kids; many of them 4 years old, riding bikes with training wheels and competing with - and completely ignoring - motor homes and trailer pulling one-tons. The rest of the little ones (and ones not so little) are busy "exploring" - meaning, cutting through sites without regard to occupancy. We were assigned an "over flow" site. This is easily the nicest "overflow" RV parking we have seen in almost 10 years of living on the road. Although the overflow area is little more that a strip of gravel alongside the main entry road for the rest of the park, the sites themselves are deep, wide, level and serviced with 30amp and water. HOWEVER, speaking of water, we reserved by phone and, when we got here, registered (and paid), then parked on our assigned site only to find a "BOIL WATER FOR 1 MINUTE BEFORE USING" sign on every utility post. The person who made our reservation and the one who registered us and took our money said NOTHING about non-potable water. I have refined our list of specific questions to ask BEFORE reserving / registering in any RV park; the new one is: "does the faucet on the RV site assigned to us provide potable water?" Wi-Fi is "available" in the sense that you need to go to the motel lobby. Thirty-two bucks a night for overflow parking (with beer bottles and trash on the site when we parked, no privacy, no sewer, no Wi-Fi and non-potable water) is - in my opinion - a rip-off. We would not stay here again...there are other RV parks within an hour's drive. We camped here in a Motorhome.
