Found another one of those rare RV spots worth spending extra days. Glen’s Cove is a campground, not a resort or fancy place to stay. But if you want low cost camping, fishing, power boating, canoeing, kayaking, biking or a just quiet place to stay and great people to visit with on the office porch or around the campfire in the evening then this place is worth looking into. Concrete boat ramp, dock and slips with electric for up 25 foot boats, enclosed fish cleaning station and plenty of room for trailer parking or boat and RV storage. Very large St Mary’s river waterfront common area for watching the freighters go by, napping in the hammock or enjoying campfires and lively discussions just about every evening. Pet friendly and playground for the kids. Most sites are well shaded and a few on the hill are satellite friendly. Fire pits, picnic tables, 30 amp and water at all sites plus a dump cart and small tractor for all to use for the dump station. Sites are pretty level, grassy with gravel. The camp access road and all interior roads are well maintained gravel. Showers and bathrooms are scattered around the park and there is a honor system laundry on the hill near the entrance, all are older but well maintained and clean. Camp store is well stocked with fishing gear and rental movies. Twenty-five RV sites, 5 tent sites and four waterfront cabins. Wi-Fi and rental motors and boats available at the office. Owners live on site, are very friendly and go out of their way to be sure everyone has a great camping visit. Camping rate reflects Passport America discount, seven days or more is $18. We camped here in a Motorhome.
