Basically a seasonal campground with a few open places. Not impressed. You have to take your own TP when using the restroom. But the sites are nice sized and shaded. Short wslk to the lake. They also rent boats. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park gets a "10" for waterfront activities! You can bring your boat and keep it at the docks for an extra fee. You can bring kayaks, rowboats, etc and leave them on the beach (no fee). We saw a pair of Loons, ducks, and an American Eagle while staying there. The campground has a lovely grassy lawn with playground equipment leading down to Tupper Lake. Many campers brought their chairs to sit and enjoy the gorgeous lake view. The beach is roped without a lifeguard. There is a floating platform to swim out to and it is deep enough to dive from. Kids were also busy fishing from the campground catching the usual sunnies. Just a great family place to do "camping activities" of fishing, swimming and cooking somemores. About 60% of the campground is seasonal. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The owners and their family are at the store/office everyday all day and are very attentive to your needs. This is not a "big rig" campground probably 30-32 feet would be the max and no 50 amp service. Call ahead since they only have a few sites available for the 30 footers. Nice family, rustic, waterfront campground with hookups to explore the Adirondack Park. Visit the Wild Center located in the town. We are planning on returning. We camped here in a Motorhome.
