This is the state park, not the expensive resort with the same name only 3 miles down the road. There are 28 full hookup pull-through (50 amp) grass/gravel somewhat level sites. There are other tenting and electric-only sites. The park is rustic and not as well maintained as other state parks, but very nice. There is a fire ring/grill. The other sites would be considered lake view. Did have issues with the tiny bugs coming in when you open the door. The location is remote to major cities and I would come with supplies. We would return if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is awesome! Concrete circle drive around campsite and concrete biking along the roads which is scenic and deer are visible. We were able to pick up AT&T E for an Internet connection. Showers were clean. Only down side we found were thick swarms of gnats under the trees especially at night. We want to come back, loved the easy/scenic biking this park provided! Full hook ups at $19, can't beat it!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice state park with pull-through full hookup sites. Nice fire ring with swinging grill for cooking. Close access to the beautiful lake. Our site was roomy and shaded. The bugs are bad this summer so have bug spray with you. Check for ticks if walking the trails because they were thick. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

November 2010
$16
Be aware that there are 2 RV parks in Honey Creek. One gives you access to the resort, costs $47 a night and sites are on concrete. The one we stayed is in the park and is $16 off season for full hookup and shower house. It was great! Most nights we were only ones there. Keep in mind this was November. Wild turkeys and deer were right on our site. The only draw back is the nearest town to do laundry, buy groceries or eat out is 20 miles. We were here for 2 weeks. Will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
